As for the comment about a RSX-S running 11s with 270whp I can highly doubt that. I know of a few guys with 300 whp/290 ft-lbs in a GTI running 11.8- 12.0 with a semi-gutted car. Some guys need to think before they start throwing numbers. My brother has a VW 1.8t putting down around 215 whp/250 wft-lbs and pulls a lot harder bottom end vs. my SS but doesn't have enough top end to keep up.

I am not sure why the comment was made that GM had to put the Supercharger on there to get 100 hp/liter. Hell there are V8s that don't put down 50hp/liter. And not everyone wants a engine that takes till redline to create any reasonable about of power and still have half any normal engines torque. If you want to talk trash about higher reving why don't you talk about the Street bikes that rev to 13k-15k and still create more power than a honda engine all over the board.
crotch rockets (a gixxer 600 for example) tend to be running a high compression fuel injected 4 banger...dohc w/ ITB's..ITB's and the cams are the key....thats why the k20a2 with IPS cams and ITB's can make more power than most of the highly modded cobalt ss/sc'd out there...the only thing is that NA power isnt as streetable as turbo's and superchargers

alright now think of a 600cc 4 wheeler that might have 1 huge cyliner...sohc with one carb....and a rather restrictive quiet stock exhaust...it wouldnt even come close to the hp that the gixxer makes...

Lots of people consider Fords move to OHC one of their worst, the LSX motors are widely considered better ... infact unless you are looking for smothness fords OHC motors fall short of the pushrod LS serries

Its not like they designed these motor and where like "Damn it Jim we for got to put torque in our motors. They'll never be fast and can never win races".
short gearing? 40 + in first...60+ in second....sounds normal to me for a 4 banger with a 6-speed...

The longer the race went It might have gottend worse. No guarentee that you woulda came back by 140 mph. If you weren't getting walked he would have been a car and a half ahead of you and you would traped almost the same. him doing almost 2mph more than you translates to you got walked.
Wow, I did not realize that 2 mph made such a huge difference! Right!!

All joking aside do you know how hard it is to add to your trap speed? It's not like throw on a cold air and you'll add 5mph to your trap speed.

Right, a CAI can reduce your trap speed in some cases. But the difference it makes in usable midrange power can make that up!

Go ahead and make up list of cars you don't have. Although my car isn't all that fast, your car is still painfully slow.

saying what **** you has doesn’t prove **** ..people are going to suspect you of lying so save us all the trouble walk out to the garage and take a picture with you and the cars that says **** you c7015

a guy who’s garage is full of cars faster than a z06 must have a digital cam and you obviously have some spare time so I expect these up in about 10-15 mins ...starting now

Let me be the first to call bullshit. Honda manuals are know for their short gearing, which is used to help make up for the engines not having any low end torque. Thats also the purpose of the 6-speed manual, it allows for closer spaced gears without sacrificing top speed. If your first gear ratio did in fact top out at 40+MPH, I'd be able to walk you from 0-30MPH in my Cavalier

i've got a few vids and it looks like they can go 40+ in first and around 65ish in 2nd.

Edit: Actually it looks like 1st tops out at 40. But the vid I'm watchin the car has it's redline raised a few hundred rpms.

Well, for the time being, why don't you at least tell us what cars you have in your garage that all run 11's and faster...

Obviously you didn't get the memo... knowing someone with a faster car than your opponent is worth 73hp.
