I know for a fact they've been as low as 14.0. With I/H/E they can be a 13 second car without some kinda magic tune that seems to be the scapegoat for everyone. Given a good driver in the right conditions, and no not a 40mph tailwind, just near 0 DA and a good track.

Sure it's a negative DA, but even corrected for alititude the time is till a 14.3...

Dyno of the same stock Civic...

Just checked the video out now. Not bad. I wish Cecil County was in my backyard. I'm stuck with the skating rink known as Great Lakes Dragaway. I bet the guy who hit a 14.0 in his stock SS/SC from this forum ran at Cecil County.

you'll still win, i've done it with an si, thats why i requested a 65 roll, they cant win from an even roll, i've never done a 20 so maybe that will be closer...

Cecil is a quick track. You'll always see the quick times from either Atco or Cecil, especially in the colder months.

Racing is from a stop.
that is one type of racing, a race can start at a light, on the freeway, on back roads...

just because its not from a stop doesnt mean it isnt a race...

im assuming you say its not a race because it requires very little skill from a roll... and by back roads(involving turns) it isnt all about straight line or from a stop

majority of street races are from rolls. dig racing is not as common as roll racing. most races arent planned which is why roll racing happens.

Well, if u cant beat him from a dig, but from a roll u win then its driver skill thats at fault, not the car.

It's a race when you go to the track and later compare slips.

Street racing = organized from a dig somewhere safe
Street ricing = roll, back road, school zone, street lights, any traffic around, in a cobalt, etc.

i dont understand why it wouldnt be, its racing on the streets, one car against another = street racing

and canada sucks because one person acknowledged back road racing as street racing.... we have the same selection of cars here as in the u.s. and they street race just like everywhere else...
