Umm, a stock 05+ GT with a 5spd is a 13.5-13.6 second car, and the auto runs around 13.8 on average. With a few bolt ons and a tune they are low 13 to high 12 second cars. Maybe from a roll your SS/SC could beat some, but not from a dig, unless of course you are modded with Stage 2 and some goodies.

Just because you've never ran it to a mid 13 or faster doesnt mean it cant happen. And maybe I was thinking of the SRT Cherokee, but again, just because you havent ran faster or seen faster than low 14's to high 13's doesnt mean it isnt possible. Look at my sig, I believe I know what I'm talking about when it comes to Mustangs, but supposedly I dont and new Mustangs are 14 second cars according to alot of people on here.

As I already did specify, I believe I was thinking about the SRT-8 Cherokees, not the TBSS. And the only reason I said what I said was because you mentioned your sig, which is fine and dandy and I'm sure you do know alittle bit about TBSS', but around here it doesnt seem to matter to anybody if you own a certain car or not, they are right and you are wrong. I wasnt trying to say you didnt know, just going by the standards that is on this site.

Probably, because it seems like all it takes is exhaust and intake on any Cobalt and it's the fastest damn car in the World.

Which magazine? slowest time I have seen was 14.2 at 104 by R&T. Heck Edmonds.com got a stock TC to run 14.0 at 103, and they got 14.0 with a 6 speed GTO and 14.1 with a WRX STI.

I don't know which magazine SportredSS got his 14.1 for the TBSS. That's not what my point was. SportredSS is magazine racing which is lame, that was my point.

Well I am modded with stage 2 and some goodies and from a roll I walk them but I've never raced one from a dig and I'm pretty sure if I did I'd lose just due to the fact of him having rwd and me having 0% traction

Well just so you know, dont race a tuned one with bolt ons from a roll, because you will lose. Even with a tune, my SS/TC has a hard time beating my bolt on and tuned 05 GT. Just a heads up!!

Yeah I didnt know if you knew about it, but a tune with the 05+ GT's, is just about like a tune a the SS/TC. Gives upwards of 20+whp and wtq on a stock car, let alone with a few bolt ons.

WTF!!! From the 99-04's to the 05+, they made a huge, and I mean huge improvement. They went from being a low 14 second car stock, to a mid 13 second car, and with just a couple bolt ons and a tune they can hit 12's. They're faster than most cars on the road, and they're faster than the previous years, which is fine with me. And I dont know what you're looking for from the factory to make them impressive, because you bought a mid to low 14 second SS/SC, which I hope you dont think is impressive.

I'm not getting my panties in a wad, I just have been following Mustangs my whole life and know that the 3v was a huge improvement over the previous year GT's. Now I just hope they decide to drop a new 4v 5.0 motor in them.

Not really sure, LOL. The early model 4.6 GT's, from 96-98 just completely sucked. The 99-04 GT's were ok, and of course the newer 3v GT's were a huge step forward. We all know the 4v 4.6's were decent, especially in the Mach 1. I really think they went with the Modular 4.6 for better emissions, better fuel economy and just to upgrade abit and go with something different. Me and my Wife already discussed that in 2014 when the 50th Anniversary Mustang comes out we will be on that waiting list. I'm sure by then it will have the 4v 5.0 Cammer engine, or something really really nice.
