09 G8 GT vs me
So my friend just got a G8 GT about a month ago. He just broke it in and we decided to do a couple runs last night.
my mods:
Stage 1 PCM
AGP WGA
CAI
Exhaust
his car is stock.
First run:
Since I knew my car would be significantly faster, I decided to take it easier on him and start in 3rd from a 40 mph roll. He was JUST in his powerband, while I was out of mine. Three beeps and we went. He kept even from 40-50 mph ( until I started boosting ). As soon as the turbo kicked in I pulled ahead significantly. By the end of 4th gear I had about a 3-4+ car lead.
Second run:
OK, this run was more in his favor. We started at a 50 mph roll, with me in 2nd and him in his powerband. He beeped 3 times and we were even until about 65-70mph ( I had to do a 2-3 shift in there ). Once again we shut it down by the end of 4th ( he had already shifted into 5th gear :jester:. My gears are a little taller!
). Same outcome, about 3-4 car lead.
Fun runs. Im still impressed with how it performs stock. It will be much better once he does some bolt ons and a tune.
