09 Solstice GXP Auto vs CSRT4 and SS/TC

Dynamikgt(Taylor) had a few races last night in an 09 gxp, he raced an ss/tc with exhaust and a 310whp csrt-4....most were digs and 2 were from a roll I had to post this up cause i was just amazed with how quick the GXP is in stock form.

GXP VS CSRT4
first run from a dig...GXP by 4 cars, shut down a 115. Caliber owner wanted another run cause he was coming up fast on us.
second run, 4-5 cars this time........we shut down at 120.
third run from a roll, caliber beat us bad.... But a race is a race, he wanted a dig and dynamik put it to him.
GXP vs SS/TC
first run from a dig, slow-chevy got the jump on us by about a car and a half and we caught him and then he slightly pulled away.
second run we got about 2 cars on him.......
third run from a roll, dynamik said he lost by a fender from a 40 roll.........

I got one thing to say.....Wow the LNF gxp ****** gets down from a dig
That car is easily sitting in the high 12's with an intake and tune and it shifts so fast!!!! Even slow-chevy said he was amazed at how quick it shifted.

throw in a manual valve body and a stall, then go put a few more car lengths on those guys from a dig. LOL.

Yea sounds like they just grab and go-I think they're even a little heavier than a SS

SS\tc driver must not have known how to shift... Stock for stock I've put several cars on a Auto Solstice GXP in my ss
tc from a dig to 80...... The Ss\TC is 2-3 mph faster in trap speed over the Solst GXP Stick and I know from watching GM test the GXP solst auto that it's nearly 1\4 sec slower then a well driven stick model, so>>>>>.... SO which GXP are you refering to" G6, Solstice, Torrent,

Soltice is tuned. TC Cobalt is stock with an intake apparently.

The primary advantage with the autos is they dont lose boost between shifts. Most of the stick guys on the sky redline forums had this as their primary complaint with the manual.

This is a bone stock 09 Solstice GXP, ill get vids this thursday night of him handing people their ass from a dig. The car doesnt have any turbo lag in between shifts. Also out of the hole, it put about 3 cars on the ss/tc and then pulled some more around 60-70. And everyone knows CSRT4's dont hook up when modded so thats why he lost so bad. Also from a roll with the top down the solstice only lost by a fender from a 40 roll to the cobalt. They run consistent high 13's@101-102. A few guys here with stock ones i see at the track pull those times off every time they run their cars. Tuned it would destroy a tuned ss/tc from a dig. BTW the auto solstice/sky LNF's are faster then the manuals in the 1/4.

SS/TC does not loose boost between shifts. The GXP actually should have lost but the TC Cobalt driver could not launch his car or shift it well apparently. The auto GXPs have a ton of torque management stock even more than the TC Cobalts do.

The NLS is not as efficient as the auto. The autos are very aggressive and will romp 98% of stick driven equivalent GXP's consistantly.

This translates to perfectly timed NLS everytime in the GXP when running the auto tranny. A tuned auto GXP forget about it. Consistant 12's all day long. Unwavering.

This man knows his ****......In comp mode the Solstice GXP straight gets it from a dig. Its actually pretty damn quick from a roll as well cause of having no boost lag and its quick shifts. The ss/tc owner can drive his car too. He ran a 14 flat@102 stock his first time to the track with the car..........

See, people love to hit their brakes when they are getting walked up on and then talk **** on-line in thier friends mommys car.

The roll races, you said nothing about the distance between us. And thats good because you eye sight is off.

Try School Busesssss then your boy let off cus I guess he heard a school bell ring.

We will video the next time I see you like I normally do.

PS, tell your friends mom to mod her car next time.

And if I see you again, we will personally have a man to man.

Now, as for as the GXP goes, it a great car. Love to own one.

They don't make any noise but run strong.

The driver was a cool cat,

You got beat... this is STL, get with the picture, when your losing by 5-6 cars that is getting walked and the person winning by 120 usually shuts down.

The GXP rolled from a dig. Quarter mile would have ended around 100... No need to go any faster from a dig. I watched this race. Was very, very suprised by this car. The C-SRT is fast, but didn't have a chance on the street from a dig. Would like to see it at the track.

Agree... if you want to run a "Top Speed Drag Race" sure... you might win that one. But dig to 120... That surpasses the 1/4 mile for these cars and it sounds like you lost. (The CRST-4)

Hey, still born and raised STL.

This is how you all run, don't matter. He won, and I won my 40 roll. The kid driving and I were both happy.

It all works to make a great night.
