09 SS/TC vs 07 350Z

So this is a future race for this saturday. This guy has been saying he would own me and my buddies 09 SS/TC's so I'm going to race him this saturday and see the results... Who you think will win? His 350Z is completely stock and I have a muffler delete and a 23 psi Trifecta tune.

I "think" you will win. However, I also think we should slap the padlock on "Future" or "whad'da'ya think" race threads too.

^ lol. 350z's are nice cars but not so fast stock. A tuned tc will have the edge on this in my opinion. Post video.

If you were stock it would be close, but with the 23 psi tune you will have no problems, unless you cant drive.

I actually just drove a 350z the other day for the first time. My tune is up another psi on you but that shouldn't make too much a difference. I know this a different 350 but same concept, my car would have raped it pretty bad. Hope that helps.

Tuned Cobalt should be a low 13 second car and the 350 is a high 13 second car. So don't screw it up.

I came all over the chicken and it got pregnant and the egg came out a couple weeks later.

Mike, you own everybody with your tune! That new 370Z didn't have a chance the other night either.

more Like a LOW 13 second car with 106-107mph trap speed

Hell jump out to a lead because of Fail wheel drive, then youll reel him near the 1/4 mile mark.

Stock vs. stock he will beat you up top. With your tune I imagine you should pull real easy if it's a roll race especialy. I would run him from a dig to make it more interesting for both parties. I run neck and neck with SS/TC's up till about 100, at which point TC's pull a bit on me. and the 350z's with the VQ35HR start to pull on me at about 90 mph but it's a real close until then.

Good luck, sub'd for results

Negative.

A stock LNF driven properly...ie.. brake boosting, NLS, proper shift points beats a STOCK 350z. Roll race of course..dig is a different story.

If you were stock from a roll I would say the TC has the edge and the Z from a dig. But being you are tuned you should have little issue winning from a roll. You'd still need driver mod from a dig though.

Tuned T/C will beat a 350z every time. More power, almost 500lbs lighter. Easy run.

Do it from a dig to make it interesting.

If you plan on winning, you better roll and use NLS and brake boost to seal the deal. If you are trying from a dig, you better have the AWESOME driver mod since you would spin more now with the tune than stock. :P

This one is in the bag, unless he was talking a lot of crap I don't know that I would waste the gas. I ran door to door with a modded 350z when I was stock with my 365lb friend in the car on a 40 roll.
