09 SS/TC vs Honda/TC

Cruising through town just the other day, and I notice a blow off a couple cars back at a red light. So I start sniffin around trying to find out where it came from and I see a high 90's model Honda (probably 98, 99) he was a few cars back mouthing off and tapping the limiter a few times. The cars kind of clear out once we get out of town and onto the highway (2 lane). By this time there is a slomobile alero between us and I hear him drop down to 3rd and swing out to pass. I let him do it and get passed me, by this time, I go ahead and push this clutch in drop it into 3rd and im in coast mode for a second or two when he passes(fart cannon exhaust, primer, lowered and magenta colored wheels) ugly as **** btw. He gets by me, and is looking over with this **** eating grin like he is doing something serious and loops around me, some black carbon smoke coming out the back so I know he had to have been WOT. As soon as he loops in front, I lift the clutch and mat it (torque steer was not all that bad) swung out (Honda still WOT) I start pulling on him and homeboy swerves into my lane! I tap brakes so I don't ram the ass end of his POS and steer over and mat it again, I get beside him and shes pulling strong, im in the 90 club at this time and I pass him going 110 or so. Im still pulling away and he cuts right behind me like he tried to hit me again! I keep pulling (130 mph) and he just gives up and pulls a quick right on a dead end road to turn around. Fair warning to all balt owners, Honda fanboys get butt hurt easily, and if its in primer, they wont hesitate to ram you if your passing. (My experience anyways) My balt is bone stock by the way.

Its not just Hondas.
Some early 2000's GT mustang was on the freeway acting like an ******* and decided to keep pulling next to me yesterday. After about 5 minutes of his speeding up, slowing, and swerving around other cars a clearing showed up. I had enough and we went for it from about 60mph. By 90mph I had a couple cars on him and was still pulling. I was satisfied that he was shown up so I layed off about 110mph (plus we were getting to traffic again). He passed me, cut over, and smashed on his braked in front of me. I swerved over and dropped to third to leave him behind. He caught back up to me a few miles down the freeway and he and his buddy kept giving me the finger and trying to taunt me. I laughed.

I will admit, the Honda was decent (performance wise), I think it was a new turbo build because ive seen that similar honda around with magenta rims, it was just not in primer. It was a good laugh though.

I've seen this before. I will never fully understand that reaction. I get the idea of people trying to save face, but I cannot completely understand the reaction of:

Guy: Let's Race
You: Are You sure?
Guy: Yes.
:: You win Race ::
Guy: F*** You!

I will never 100% understand it.

I guess that's why they invented the saying "butt hurt" that's basically the only way to describe that gesture after losing a race..
It takes less energy/time to just say "good race" and move on.

Im with you there Katsimbris

I never lost a race in my SS/TC but I also did not go picking fights with C6 Z06s either.

Losses to date include a ctsv bolted, tuned, and 75 shot. And my buddies turbo d16z6 del sol which is also fully built. Only lost by half a car to the honda. So 2 losses to 50+ wins is a good ratio for me lol.

Got butthurt by a 1g dsm running 25psi on a 20g, other than that just a 911 turbo.

Believe me, didn't go picking that fight.

And I would agree that mustang owners are insane, especially when they get beat.

Way to put the clown in his place!

I traded in the 09 Sedan TC for a new 3.7 MT6 base in 2012 and I miss the semi-sleeper status from the sedan. I get trolled by all kind of mustangs to and from work and am thinking where is the love? It doesn't matter what ride, just who is driving it.

I pulled out onto the highway with a SC Balt and it was a quick sprint to about 60 or so and it hung pretty well. I don't know if it was WOT or not, but it was when I was running a bit lean, the stang runs better now with the retune. I think a Stage 2 SC Balt would be a good run with my 3.7 3.55s, CAI, 93 Tune (it feels a bit faster than my stock 09 TC Sedan when I had it).

Panhandle by Pcola, see you in streets! Haha, I'm not part of any official club or group, but hit me up if you head out this way and see if we can make it happen.

best example (one that stick out in my head the most) of this happening to me was a few years ago, older dude (mid 50's) driving a c5 vette with prob just catback, automatic, driving like a dick, lines up with me and mashed it, so i said hmph no thank you, put 3 cars on him easily from 55 to 100 because the tools convertible top was down. i slow down again and while he is passing me flips me off...... da ****? i was going the speed limit and you tried to show me up infront of my girl, yeah i'm the douche that needs flipped off

Went to the strip last week with my buddy he has a GT mustang Kenne Bell supercharger at 8psi. This was my first time at a track so we took off. I think I did okay for my first time. But he beat me both runs we did Not by much but it was still a win. If anything it motivated me to upgrade my car, and learn launches that much better.

Wonder if its the same owner of one that tried something similar to me down this way back when I ran a 2003ish civic. I was just cruising, kind of fast to be honest as I wanted to get home from work and just relax and this black civic comes off an on ramp just ahead, he was going for broke, had black smoke pouring out and heard them screaming along . I do not know if it was turbo'd but it pulled decent but I ran up on him after giving it the full beans myself and just walked passed, he did a swerve but i did not move. I figured if he wanted to hit me and then get this ass beat for real then go try me.

I had trucks do that to me in the balt before. I never understand what swerving at someone is suppose to do, I do not get scared like some people might so its whatever.
