soo theres this kid with a 05 yellow lancer ralliiart with header exhaust and sum other stuff that thought he was king shyt around school...smoked him...im not at school today and i just got a txt from one of my friends saying hes outside waiting with his buddy that wants to run one with a 09 sti...just wondering how you guys think ill do. my tune for the tvs isnt to great because my intercooler pump went during tunning so iat's were to high to continue but she still pulls hard..any thoughts?

stock 09 sti? you got it dont worry. But from a stop depending on how far your racing be careful if the kid can drive. Launch could lose it for you.

 

yeah its stock and yeah im gunna try and do it from a roll because honestly i dont have driver mod wen it come to launching still not that good at it haha

races usually go up to about 170km/h 180 but only if its close otherwise leader shuts down way before

from either you should win. If u **** the launch, you should be able to reel him in. Go from like 0-120 if u go from a dig, or 40-120 from a roll.

 

If he is stock and you race from a stop for a whole 1/4 mile, you should reel him in. From a roll you should take him. If you race the 1/8 mile from a dig, you may have troubles. Have you ever tracked your car?

 

even in the 1/4 he may have a problem. The STI's can run mid to low 13's stock with a good driver. If he takes it past the 100 mph mark though, he should yank the **** out of the STI. Up to 120 he will get him easily.

 

For sure. My buddy runs 13.1-13.2 all day. He has a stock 05 sti.

the newer wrx/sti's gears run really short, it seems like when the car is really making power you have to shift. I rode with a frined that has a new sti, fast and bad ass car but the gearing is po po!. I love the cobalt gearing and you should pull hard on him in the top of first in to second. are you running e85 on that tvs?

 

i see that car around alot, i always see him downshifting when he drives by me and stuff. he also lurks around timmies parking lots.

 

His tune is very conservative because the IAT2s were way to high.

I know that with the current tune he is slower then my car (2.7 with meth) on my race tune (just from looking at his logs on HP Tuners), so I don't know how close the race will be.

Hurry up and meet with Jer, finish the meth install, then I will finish your tune and you will destroy him after that, lol.

He doesn't run e85 because there are no stations that sell it around here, his current setup has the 3.1 pulley, no meth, pump gas and pretty low timing (16 degrees I believe, until we can finish his tune).

that doesnt matter...a stage 2 sc balt should take an sti from a roll. he shouldnt have a problem

 

Yeah the stock 09 sti isn't too quick, especially from a roll. I took one that jumped me in my stage 2 ss/sc.

blower swap is considered highly modded... and from a dig, he will still probably lose!

 

it makes less power than a 2.7 m62...its not higly modded.

In that case, put them both on snow. It is fail because it is modded vs. stock and only comparing one aspect of the vehicle. You can mod a cheap CRX and beat a $20K SS/SC, so what is your point?? You, Sir, Fail X 2!!
