09 t/c vs ls vtec t67 turbo
tonight i ran a hatchback with ls vtec t67 turbo headers 8 psi exaust intake intercooler.....bolt ons. so they were talking mad **** that they dont think my cars fast blah blah blah... he asked if i wanted to race for money and i said no, lets just do it for fun. and in my mind i thought mabey his ***** fast. he told me he had a problem where his oil line were fucked up. instead of having two seperate line one to the turbo and one to the cams, he had one line witha t fitting. and that a 80 psi for the oil it would just be too fast to go to the cams. so he didnt have vtec. idk if thats i huge difference but i smoked him by like 5 to six cars. he said that the vtec just kicks in when it wants to. he said that my car was really fast and ill still beat him even when its fixed.

what I always find funny is these guys will slap a turbo on anything, then turn around and make excuses about their set-up. In other words they don't have a clue as to what they're doing, but wanna talk **** at the same time.

Anyway, I could care less about your "Trifecta tune" because what it boils down to is the fact that you could nearly fit your stock turbo (the whole thing) inside a T67. You're CAPPED at the limitations of that stock turbo (which isn't very much) while his T67 isn't even breathing at 300+whp.
Bottom line, you beat all these cars that are obviously hackjobs with morons behind the wheel and under the hood (proven by him telling you that you would still win when it's running right). Give that Teg to me or any of the people I'd consider to be good with cars for an hour and we'll have it running the right way, and we'll show you what a T67 will do vs your baby cute K04.
That turbo is EASILY capable of making 450+whp on pump gas bolted to an LSVTEC motor. **** my friends GSR made 390whp with that turbo on next to nothing for boost levels. 390whp translated to an 11.80 pass at over 125mph. 450whp would suck the doors right off your car as it passed you,.
http://www.full-race.com/catalog/pro...products_id=63
T3/T67 Turbo Dyno (the small T67)
Stock GSR bore
9:1 CP pistons
Full-Race rods
Full-Race ProStreet T3 turbo manifold
3.0 in. downpipe
4.0 in. JouleSpeed exhaust
Aftermarket intake manifold
That's 600whp from that turbo. Are you sure this kid isn't running a D16 with a 14b turbo?

nice kill......
but if that guy had that set up, (very big if) and if he was running it correctly, you would not have beat him. you would not even have been able to hang with him.

Not hanging is the understatement of the century. You're talking about a turbo that flows 57+ lb/min and would make like 350whp at about 4 psi on an LS/VTEC motor lol

so he got the car fixed. all it was was the ground wire. he replaced it and damn that cars fast. we ran tonight and it was dead even from second to high third gear. we couldnt go more, traffic. but we were sipposed to run from a dig all the way to like 140 but it started to rain, so it was close. his car shocked me. i have never seen a honda that fast inperson. he might pull on me a little idk well find out

bottom line is race what you brought, not how things could be and how certain things arent working, no making excuses, even if your cars faster and you missed a gear, a LOSS is a LOSS

Some cobalt owner is going to be left bloody in a ditch somewhere because of this story when he gets a fat head from reading all this garbage and runs into the wrong crowd.
