has anyone in here raced a civic si? there is a kid talking alot of **** down the road from me and it seems that i could take him but i want to see everyone elses thoughts... i only have a cat back... should i wait til i get my CAI and downpipe?

Haha I saw one of those on the interstate last week with the Si badge. I thought dang, must have like 75tq on that baby.

Yeah well I raced one of these on friday at the track and he ran a 12.6

Yes, well lowered and rims. But that was it. Also, couldn't hear any turbo until he left off the gas. Oh and obviously had slicks.

 

i raced an SI but it wasnt the 06 model. it was the weird hatchback one that looks kinda like the focus hatch. i won against him twice. once on at a 25 roll and once at a light then he turned off. i pulled about a car on him. i couldnt really pay too much attention because the zone was a 35 and a narrow one at that. i hit 85 when he backed off and turned but i knew he was tryin cuz he was keepin up.

 

If he is driving the new Si and you are driving a 2.2 N/A, then you might want to get some ointment for when he rapes you....it'll help with that burned feeling.
