2.9 Stage II vs 04 Cobra

MY buddy had a cobra and i have been waitin till we both had time to finally get a couple runs in to see how the coby would run against the svt... all 3 times we went from a roll . all 3 times we had the same outcome..we went from 40 and till 85ish when we cut of..f he had about 3/4 of a car on me..if we would of went faster he would of started to pull ..he was surprised that he didn't blow me away. he had straight pipes and m/t dr's

What gear was he in? 40-85 isn't much of a race but he should have put 1.5-2 cars on you pretty easily. Were tires and exhaust his only mods.

Good job keeping up though.

that's an extremely short race and he may have been in a higher gear than needed. Good job man, that's a great accomplishment. Just keep in mind this is not the norm. Termi's are extremely quick cars.

I raced an 03 a year ago or so. He had a pulley and exhaust I know for sure, not sure about the rest... and from 40 to 80 he pulled half a car... from 40-120 he pulled a car and a half.

I thought he was just a really bad driver... but then I watched him spank a GT500 from a Dig... so I dunno.

Haha, jesus christ. Oh the love of the KB.

I almost picked me up a Cobra a while ago.

A white 03... but I couldn't sell my current hunk.

now that one sounds even more wrong. A pullied termi with the right bolt ons to support will trap in the high teens easily. ls3 vette style.

Yeah... I know. That's why I laughed when he told me his mods.

I'm trying to think of what size pulley it was... and I don't think he was Tuned... either way, it should have been a slaughter.

I'm doubting since bone stock 04 Cobras ran 12.8s all day and stage 2 with a perfect driver is a high 13 car...

These were from rolls... totally different animal, especially when a FWD car is involved.

You can't compare 1/4 times like that in this situation.

I run about even with 108-110 trap cars... I've done it on 3 or 4 occasions.

They are talking trap speeds, not top speed.

Exactly. Modified should only get higher.

When I raced a 112 trapping GTP, it wasn't even funny. This GTP ran 1/2 a car behind a GT500 (I have a video).

I guess the Cobra driver's are just playing games with us... but the guy I raced acted REALLY F'in surprised. I think he just sucked at life.

Yeah... it struggles to get there too. Haha.

Right when I bang 5th gear... it turns into a Turd.

I don't think it could go much faster... but I'd like to see it.

I needz Turbo.
