2000 Mustang v6 vs Cobalt ls

The 00 Mustang is complete bone stock.

vs

My 2005 Cobalt N/A
Catback exhaust estimates 8-15 hp gain.
Rims that are lighter than stock LOL

Not racing from a dig. but if I raced him from a 40 roll what would happen. Both cars are auto.

he should be a high 15 car. Against an LS auto hes got torque and hp on you. He does have weight on you as well. But I think the mustang is going to edge you out. Ive been curious how id do against a new edge v6 myself but havent had the chance to race one yet.

think he has a good second on you 0-60. Though I havent looked it up. So he should pull you just 0-60. From a roll well I dont know. But why a 40 punch? Its not like either car has enough power to smoke them from a dig. Hell doubt either will do much more than a chirp. So go from a dig!

Why a dig lol? I thought my best shot would be a roll because dont mustangs have like all low end torque? If he ever mans up and wants to race Ill do from stop and roll. Just tired of him thinking he is tough ****. If I lose o well he beat a cobalt if I win then lol at him

What does a stock ls run in the 1/4 and 1/8?

I found these for the 2000 v6 mustang.
0-60 : 7-8.5
1/4 : 15-16.5
1/8 : 9.8-11

if your going to lose then lose. Better to see what your car has than to handicap the race. Then again im not a fan of roll racing and honestly roll racing an auto to me is irritating.

you can beat a v6 mustang, ive already beat a older mustang like a 95 with 2 other people in my car, and went from a 45 roll, then i raced a newer mustang like...05 or something from a 55 roll and outran it..you should win

That's what I'm saying, LOL.

Most 99-04 v6's ran in the mid to high 15 second range with a manual, although some have ran low 15's, but that is with Evan Smith driving, LOL. The autos are high 15 second cars at best.

To "BlackCobalt707", I can see you beating all v6 Mustangs that arent modded with all your mods, but stock vs stock you wouldnt beat a new 05+ v6 Mustang. They have ran 14's stock and most are mid to low 15's.

94-98 145-150hp
99-04 190hp
05-10 205hp. However the 05s are capable of running 14's off the showroom floor.

The 05's respond well to mods as well

i know them V6 mustangs are pretty beasty, well the 5 speeds ones are. the ones i raced was an auto so i think that gave me advantage. but to the best of my knowledge it was stock. i didnt hear anything that would give it away. but honest to god i won, my friend in a camaro SS behind couldnt believe it after we pulled off at a gas station lol. he was just as surprised as i was

Honestly from a dig the manuals dont have much of an advantage over the autos. They're both 5spd's, and there is very little to no difference in the 2 from a dig. Yeah if the manual driver wanted to push the limits of redlining it and power shifting it then yeah it has the advantage, but other than that there isnt much difference.

Black as was said you beat the driver. Even the auto 05+ verts can run low 15's....

The others well a 94-98 auto will run 17s. The 99-04 will run high 15 or so in auto trim.
