2004 Srt-4

A friend of mine pulled his SRT out of storage a little early this year because of the awesome weather we have been having, so this was the first time both of our cars have been out together. I'll give you a little background on his car. He has BB 3" exhaust, huge FMIC, PSI-FI big turbo upgrade (GT-35RR I think) all the supporting fuel mods and the PSI-FI Power Paq, PSI-FI CAI, Greddy Electronic Boost Controller. Other **** too but I lost track. More or less, this thing is a monster. It's running around 22psi I think.

Anyways, We get on the highway on the way to the Casino. I had no intention of racing becuase I already knew the outcome, haha. He was ahead of me and I pulled into the next lane and got beside him just fooling around. He started to slow and and we got down to about 80km/h. I shifted into 2nd and he signaled for me to go. So I jumped on it and pulled about half a car length. Then out of nowhere I hear this insanely loud sucking noise like I have my head in a shop-vac. He flew past me like my tires were stuck in the mud......I have been in this car before but god DAMN I didn't think it was that fast. I just started laughing, it was all I could do, haha.

So a little word of advice. Do NOT race highly modded SRT's, They will make you look silly

I have a guy drivin a blue SRT-4 around here that's still rockin the 50 trim turbo and its pretty quick for what it is but he mentioned doing a turbo swap and internals work. His goal is to get to 600whp to beat the ATI Supercharged 04 Cobra on my route to work everyday. Talk about fast.... the whine is incredibly insane...

nice, BooSSted no worries man just let the mods come and race him again and keep moddnig until ya beat em. Gotta have a goal. Pick a ridiculous car (like ur friends) and use that as somehing to aspire to.

I would love to but I don't see it happening. I don't want to mod my car to that extreme. It has to remain and daily driver and be reliable to get me to and from work.

Self - Yes he is on stock internals.

SRT's are insane. Theres a guy here in Town refered to as DasMopar... hes running the stock turbo on some spray and hes running low 11s. My cuzin's feionce "1FastChick" has a bigger turbo and some other goodys..... It runs 11.8 i beleive and is a dialy driver... rain/snow.
