2011 5.0 Vs. 6.0L GTO

Not bad for a N/A 5.0 taking on a boosted 6.0L.

Intake, x-pipe, and tune... You can get the 3.73s from the factory, right?

That Mustang is pretty beast.

...no they dont.

however, with full bolt ons they're a low 11 second car, so the video doesnt surprise me

edit: twisted goat has a lot of room to grow too. hes got some BIG pulleys. oly 6psi from a tvs1900? That blower can support 650whp without too much effort

Mustang forums verified dyno's should check them out before spreading miss information.

Thanks.

Thanks.
I'm not speading miss information to anybody but simply saying what a kid around here that I know put down for whp

Every car and dyno are going to put different results down.

I said that high 4's is kinda hard to believe with bolt ons, bring the link in please and then I'll think twice

I was talking about the ones thinking you are going to reach 500 WHP with bolt ons. Maybe when they come out with some efficent cams and bolt on and cams with head work and aggressive tune.

Sorry I should have clarified.

2011 Mustang GT Dyno Data Summary

Quick search , I am at work and do not have all my saved bookmarked sites on this computer but you can get the general idea form this list.

And people have to make sure the dyno numbers are SAE corrected, I have noticed a lot of v8 guys love to claim uncorrected numbers , I know other people do it but it is just something I noticed from them.

Yeah most of those guys are putting down 380-400whp with Tune's and LT's

I'd like to see the guy that has the PC stang go for sure, I bet that one moves out

Seems a tune opens them up over 400whp. Look at Livernois's and the last one in the manual list. Livernois is a well recognized company here in Michigan (also expensive as hell!) and they work on just about every domestic car and put up a lot of good numbers. They built a local LS1 Camaro that traps 190 in the 1/4.

It also seems that the auto sucks power out of them.

[QUOTE=Shibito;5532662]Not bad for a N/A 5.0 taking on a boosted 6.0L.

I drove my brother-inlaws 2011 5.0 when I came up to livonia for this past christmas and I was quite impressed with it. The car pulls hard in any gear(when equiped w/3:73). I came back to my (untuned) LNF and it felt a little anemic after driving the 5.0!!!

Kind of scary to see a Mustang making over 400whp N/A though. I don't even like it... ******* GT's are coming after our Terminators

Least they're internals will hold them back HAHA!
