You will NEED a smaller pulley, bigger injectors, a sweet tune and that meth kit in order to even be close.

Nah you'd beat me from a roll. I spin the tires all the way trough to 4th. I haven't had time to buy a 12bolt, and if I put sticky tires on right now. I'd twist the rear end in half

race him from a dig. With 4:11's he won't get traction for ****.

stock their rated at 275-285hp

with full exhaust your looking at maybe 10 more hp. The LT1 can be tuned very nicely though.

I'd say he's around on the low 310-315whp, and on the high he's 320-325whp basing number's off him having a real good tune.

When I had my LT1 I was always under the impression that with a set of just Longtube Headers that they would give you at least 30 horses.. I could be way off base, but that is what I always thought as the LT1 headers were A LOT more restrictive than the LS1's ad putting headers on a LS1 may give you 10 at most..

Just my .02

Correct me if I am wrong.

-Matt

P.S. Either way.. Not lookin' good bro. :P

Long tubes give you better power but, not thirty horses. They also made shorty headers for the LT1, heaven knows why?

my little brothers 94 z with lt headers, full exhaust w/ no cats, cai, 4.11, pulley, and a tune ran 13.2 when it hooked, but being the underdog means you have nothing to lose and everything to gain

Yeah this is iroc mitch's brother and im not lookin at my dyno sheet but my car is makin about 310 hp and 336 ft. lbs., so your cobalt would need a few more mods to compete with a tuned camaro.
