uh.... the Cobalt with ease.

I owned a MSP before my SRT4. I had a CAI, 2.5" TBE, FMIC then I switched to a bigger SMIC. 8psi.

I made like 185whp...

Should be able to... put like $50 down or so... dont blow it with horrible driving.

When I had my MSP, a bone stock SRT4 would eat me up from a roll.

I raced a 2004 WRX with, CAI & 3" TBE from a roll. We were door to door.

I don't even have to read the mods of the mazdaspeed protege and I know that the cobalt will win. Give me a break, that car is probably one of the worst designed peformance cars ever. It can handle 200whp! lol.

ok, now after I read the thread, I see that you raced him, if you beat him by 4 cars, that's pretty slow. Those are nice cars though, but not meant to be fast. even with a turbo.

I heard the MSP's had no aftermarket and weren't very fast even with FI. They're nice looking cars though, but just rather slow.

I used to own a MSP, it sucked ass. I had a CAI, 2.5" TBE and SMIC and I put down 198whp.

It wasnt meant to be fast, but it could make a u-turn in 2 lanes and it handles like a ****.

My SRT4 has the steering radius of a school bus and now I need 6 lanes to make a u-turn.

The MSP will out handle a Cobalt or SRT4 any day of the week though.

The Familia (japanese name) were meant to handle like beasts. And that they do.

well the cobalt was made to handle very well also. While the mazdaspeed may still outhandle the cobalt, I think it would be closer than you think.

Now SRT-4s, you need an ACR to even think about handling and even then they aren't too impressive. They have huge weight issues from front to back.
