Altima SE R

I like workin' late cause when you go home the traffic is light.

I get off my exit change lanes and get to the turn around. In front is the Nissan Altima SE R. Them dual pipes just like eye's starin' at my balt. My fog lights given it right back.

There's a white truck coming down the road when Mr. SER decides to gun it and take off, the truck lays on his horn but the SER doesn't care, those beady dual exhausts give a little snort and takes off down the road. Knowing he can't catch em he continues.

Outta nowhere my balt's front end rises and takes off. The truck has moved over and my balt goes for the kill. Clear road ahead just my balt and the ser.

Not wanting to do a fly by the balt flashes the fog lights. The SER taps brakes and waits. Going to the left lane I slowly pull up next to the SER but he won't let me get even, 45, 50, 55, front bumper reaches the SER's front door and the nose goes up.

I knew he wouldn't be fair, down to third @ 65 and so long SER.......

Wrong. Those things are quick man, a stock ss/sc up against a half decent driver in that car will lose. Even a stage 2 ss/sc will struggle to beat them. They are a little heavy, but it's not like they're a tank or something. Great cars all the way around, just wouldn't get one because of the price tag.

the cars run a 14.9-15.4 stock.... a 2.4 with a few mods could stick by one....like i said a ss s/c with a decent driver will win...a stage 2 shouldnt have a problem if the person can drive +5 drive mod

True, its a quick car, he pulled in front of that truck and took off, If I didn't blink my lights on and off I probably wouldn't caught him before my turn off.

He shoulda down shifted, would of made a better challenge. 65-100 in third gear..... damn this cars quick...

You drive a 2.2l sedan. So you are magazine racing at best. SE-Rs can break into the 13s bone STOCK and with decent drivers run low 14s all day.

lol yea right what kind crack you are you smoking...the altima ser has the 3.5 yes.... ::also only 260hp which is less than the 350z::, and doesnt even have the same tune....the average drive on them can only do high 14's and ive seen one do a 15.0 in person....the cars dont have the setup into the 13 stock...all the times i can find for the altima se-rs are mid 14's with intake and high 14's stock....found one that did a high 13 but had intake,exhaust,headers....not stock though

so what i drive a 2.2? this isnt about my car

Yeah, it's about my car. 2.0l with supercharger and GMPP stage 2 mod

I want to run it on a 1/4 track, (where racing ought to be) and find out if I have driver mod too probably not since I can't launch as another war story I've told can confirm.

Stock 3.5 SE running a 14.4 with a magazine. I have seen a bone stock 3.5 SE run 14.0-14.2s all day at my local track and an SE-R running 13.9s-14.2s.

So like I said you are mag racing at best and even that you suck at.

Please, Please, sheeessh, I'm sorry the only proof is what I've typed, but my balt wasn't in the magazine and neither was the ser.

We were on the road, I had him in my sights.

He saw me move in for the kill.

He proceeded to accelerate.
We were above the speed limit a few seconds.

I had the shot.
There was no danger, so I took it.

whoa.... flash back

lol you have to rember the ser are also heaver then the balt. or at least i would hope. and yes it is stupid to do magazine racing. if you want to look for real times go to differnt fourms. that helps more then the magazins unless there is a lot of lyiers out there

i got all my information from nissan forums.....i found a stock time of 14.6 for one but needless to stay not near a stage 2 cobalt times unless they are a shitty driver....the se-r weighs in around 3300 lbs...the ss s/c is a little over 2900lbs
