at this point seeing what srt4 are putting out and what cobalts are putting out I don't think there is anything you could really do but rebuild your hole engine and have at least 480whp and a **** load of torque if you don’t have that I don’t think you really have a chance unless you have the bottle. Now I’m not say it can't be done all im saying is we have to put a lot more money into our cars before we are even on there level.

from what I am under standing the ss/sc can handle 300whp with stock internal, where an srt4 can handle maybe 500whp with stock internals

no I wasn't stating that, yeah with out a dought a stage3 cobalt would beat a stock srt4 you even beat a stage 1 any higher then that I don't think it would happen.

Need to be careful about that. People keep saying Stage1 is nothing, Stage1 are easy to beat. Very few Stage 1 SRT's stick with just the ECU (it's only a 10hp upgrade really). Stage1 is absolutely awesome for boltons. The key is its ability to understand boost maps up to 18.25 psi.

Find a Stage1 car running intake/exhaust and raised boost, and they will hang with or beat a lot of the Stage2 cobalts.
