quick answer buddy...NO...they are especially made for the highway..there 1st,and beggining 2nd gear is limited to a certain PSI level so it doesnt over spin, but once in 3rd the car takes off...they are bout 1.5 cars faster than a stock srt4..so once again YOU WILL GET RAPPED BY ONE

they're fast cars... but... on the plus side, being a mazda, there isn't many of them to go around, so the odds of meeting one are kinda slim. in a 1/4 mile... i dunno, i think you'd have a shot in a stage 2

like i said before... i almost had a shot at one and it ended up not happening due to a car pulling out and cutting it off....... I see the guy usually once a week and if i get my cobalt back im sure ill get a chance to run him. ive got stage 2.... we will see what happens....

Test drove one about 3 months ago when I was considering getting rid of the 'balt in expectation of the newborn. Amazing ride for an i4. Man, those cars would eat us alive, stock for stock. Definately don't line up along side one unless you're sure of yourself and your ride. They push around 260hp stock, but like joe said, they're a limited edition. Only 4,000 or 5,000 stateside.

same basic motor, just in a heavier car.

the six is nicer looking, rides better and is AWD.

the 3 is lighter. and looks more like a raver girl's boot.

and since they are a mazda they will have almost no aftermarket, which is a crime imo. The new lineup of mazdaspeeds could be AWESOME with some aftermarket support, but they will probably never get it. I actually think the ms3 is torque limited in 1, 2 AND 3. That thing has like 280 ft lbs doesn't it? insane.
