balt vs genesis

Well, tonight i went to my car meet that i usually go to on saturday nights, and there were actually quite a few people that turned out tonight, being that the heat wasn't to bad, it was about 80 outside, much better than 105. With it being so nice outside, i decided to finally take my friend with a genesis on since he has been wanting to race me for a while. We drove out to a secluded area outside of town, it was a pretty long road in the middle of nowhere. You can see my mods in my garage, 2006 ss stage 3 and he had the 2010 v6 genesis with a custom intake with many suspension mods

1st run ----- we started from a dig, and he took me pretty good from the beginning, i had a pretty bad launch, we kept going to 130, i caught up with him and slowed down

2nd run ------ again he took me from the dig, but only by a couple of cars, then he missed second, i was gone, by the time we hit 100 i had around 3 cars on him

3rd run --------- last run, he took me from a dig, and i caught up to him around 90, smoked him from that point, said he felt like he was standing still

all in all, thought i did pretty well, especially against a car rated at 300 hp lol, everyone always underestimated the sc cobalt

He's in the middle of no where, more responsible then most "Mexico" videos I see on here of people slamming on their brakes before they hit traffic.

I'm saying take it to a track and then you'll know though for sure who's faster. I mean you won't be getting near 130 mph. So my guess unless you beat him off the tree he'd get you.

Man I guess Honda's were on the prowl tonight. Got the Sky's Fuel injector seals in today and went for a drive. Sure enough a modded Gen 8 Civic Si see's me and decides he want to play on some back roads. Well, he does a ricer flyby and I just ignore him. He slows down, I look over and he guns it. Takes off about half a car then I floor it. I did a 5 sec Wot in which when I look I was about 3 1/2 car lengths ahead of him. He speeds up slows down and honks 3x's, we go again and this time it was a nice straight stretch and by the time I let of I had about a BUS 1/2 on him. I then stop on the side of the road to talk to him and be like "Nice race man" and he rolls by flips me off and says " **** Saturn" and takes off, to no surprise hitting Vtek(What.....). I just LMAO get in the car and head home. I guess he didn't see that coming.

street race is different than a drag race. saying take it to the track is like telling a funny car to take it to a road course for a real race. apples to oranges here.

I think it says it in the owner's manual. Also includes instructions to do the stop light "ricer roll back" clutch in roll back, creep up, clutch in roll back, repeat steps for increased douche bag effect.

HAHA a ricer in his hatch stalled out infront of me and a friend and instead of hitting the brakes tried to smoothly restart the car .... so it rolled back on my friends grand-am >.<!!

Guess I should have came out yesterday. Lol. There's not much for me to run out at the meets though. Managed to run some random ms3 from a dig (5 cars by 100 lol) and this 335i with plates "om nom) refused to runme.

And to the guys complaining about street racing, we live in KANSAS in the middle of nowhere. Tons of safe places to run out here vs some of you guys in a city.

Posting in the war stories forum that street racing is dumb is like walking into a bowling alley and yelling "bowling is for losers!"

GTFO of here with that nonsense

Op, good race. Wish more ppl tried me on the street. Don't get challenged enough around here

I had an old rusty el camino try to race me but i ignored him then he gave me a ricer flyby. It was 110 and the AC was on so I didn't chase or anything. He had no shirt on and his windows down and a mustache. I love Oklahoma.
