I was rolling around sunday night when all the kids with their cars go at it, when a kid with a 99 Civic SI with a b16 Vtec, Skunk 2 intake manifold and throtle body, AEM V2 CAI, DC Sports header with full exhust, and MSD Ignition, calls me a "slobalt". I laughed a little bit because i am used to it, until i get called out for a race. So i tell the kid ok we can do it from a dig, and a 20 mph roll. I ask him what his best time at the track was, and he said 14.8@93 mph, But he said he got that from a dashboard Calculator. My best time and mods are in my sig. So we get at it. From the dig, i spun a little much, so he jumped a half a car on me, but by the time i hit 3rd gear, i was gone. Then from the roll, i jumped instantly on him and pulled. I said to him there is no way he is at 14.8 because my best time is 15.2 and i killed him. It was a good time, and i got to shut down the rice!

i also witnessed a 2003 Mustang SVT cobra beat a new Skyline GTR from a dig and roll....This cobra runs an 11.8, but it was still cool watching an american car beat the most overrated veichle out right now

i love american cars, please forgive me if i misunderstood u, but the skyline is a beast when it has its mods. people just talk crap about it because they cant afford to get a tip top shape skyline. but the new gtr arent that good looking but oh well

update: ill prolly get flamed for this so i might as well add this, i know that the new "GTR" isnt exactly a skyline but its still the same thing in essence or how ever u america born people say it XD

I havent had any races in my g5 gt yet but i've had tons of races in my nissan altima and destroyed tons of civics . The only ones that would give the 2.2/2.4 cobalts/g5's trouble would be the new si and then if your modded enough you can win.

No way the mustang beat a GTR.. the driver was using his daddies car and didn't want to hurt it.

 

 

It's not that hard to get an 03 Cobra to run low 11s... Honestly you can get nearly 600hp out of them without even opening the motor.

GTR is overrated 15 launches trannys are breaking, brake service is 6500, no two GTRs run the same, and it's built like a Nissan. LOL

 

new pulley and just boltons would make it an 11 second car, doesnt take much to get terminators into the 11's.

If it was modded to hell it would run low 10's or high 9's lol

youd be shocked at how many people will tell you, or quote quarter mile times using on board devices, as if they are real times.

ive tried a few, none of them are very accurate.
