Bullet vs Mini Cooper S

I was heading over to the local Starbucks to meet this girl tonight and 2 girls in a Mini Cooper S pull up. She revs it, I hear that supercharger whine and im like.....oh **** im gonna get smoked.....by a girl. Anyway, the light turns green and we both gun it. The entire race was dead frickin even. Sorry no specials or anything. We shifted at the exact same time through 1st to 2nd and went to 60. My launch was a little bit better but her shift to 2nd evened it back out. It was dead even up to 60. We let off and pulled to the next light. She asked me why she didnt hear the supercharger and I said because it was a 2.4SS/NA. She gave me props for sticking dead even versus a F/I car. I feel pretty satisfied.

By the way my "current mods" are:
GMPP CAI - GMPP short ram extended down to the bottom of the front bumper with a Fujita F5 filter.
LSJ Extrude Honed Header
LSJ Extrude Honed Downpipe
Megan Racing Catback 2.5"
Eibach Sportlines - which probably did next to nothing
Stock Tune

And i'm damn sure the 18" rims didnt help me go faster.

Just read an article in Road and Track on the Mini Cooper S -- their driver got a 15.3 with it, so it doesn't sound far-fetched.

hmmm, they must suck lol. but it seems about right, i used to have about 10 more horsepower and smaller rims/tires. by the way, how is that JET chip working for you, you think itll produce close to a 10whp increase like my dyno tune did?

oh, did you read the article about the 2008? because they are different and no longer supercharged and much slower. this one was an 06 with 208hp

The car weighs like 2000 pounds! Seriously! Have you ever driven one? Its like a ******* go-kart. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT get into it with one on a twistie road cause you will get your ass handed to you on a plater.

But deff props to you for sticking with the Cooper S on a straight!
