Camaro ss
So this weekend was driving back home when a camaro ss revved behind me. This thing was loud. I could tell he had cams and an exhaust, not sure about anything else, he also had another person in his car. We started with a few pulls around 40 mph. The first time we went to about 80 bc of traffic and i had a car length or 2 on him. we do it again and this time go to 100. same story. then slow down and he does a 20 roll. Unfortunately that thing jumped ahead about 2 or 3 car lengths in front of me but i pulled to within a car by 110 then we stopped. Thought i would just share my story. He was impressed and said he was surprised my little car could "run".

was it auto? i dont think it had cams, i can see an exhaust since you say it was loud. but if you say he has cams then he should have bolt ons as well and thats at least 440-450whp+ and it should be giving you a harder time. nice runs nonetheless
your prob right. my friend has one and even just with his catback+intake on it sounds ****** louddd and even has a little lobe at idle. But still a good kill OP!

he probably did have other mods. when we were stopped next to him i asked him if he had cams and he said yes. pretty easy to tell with the sound too. He had a manual because one run he missed 3rd. and it was a 5th gen.

If it was truely a H/C/I SS 5th Gen, it would be 2-3 football fields. Plus, H/C/I don't really make the car that much louder, you'd hear a lope, not extra volume. 
Not trying to be a dick either, but it sounds like he probably let off around that 110 mark if you were catching up.

I'm telling you he had cams, this bitch was obnoxiously loud, and he told me himself he had cams. from a 40 roll i was a few car lengths ahead. but from a 20 roll it was an entirely different story, he jumped immediately and it took me a while but i started to catch up. and yes it was a 5th gen.
