Can't win 'em all. MS3 vs SS/TC
On the way to work this morning (like 6am) i gave the car a lil gas next to a MS3 (wheels/exhaust are all i could see). Instantly spun and i let off, just saying hi. 
He gets behind me and i move left and he takes off from the right lane, there is some rowdy road construction ahead from where a waterline blew during our 200 days of 100* weather so i dont chase. We get the red light anyway...
Light goes green and we both ease out over the road construction, im not sure he is going to play or not but i think he heard the BPV on my shift and took off, i tried chasing him and just gunned it from 2nd, but traction really isnt an option in the 40* weather. By the time i shifted to 3rd he was braking but i had made it back to 1- 1.5 cars. Although 3rd spun on me on the shift as well so it would have probably taken a little longer to catch him.
Didnt get to talk to him as my turn was up ahead but i gave him a few friendly brake taps to say good race and he tapped the horn as he went by. A good way to start my morning, although i would be lying if i said i didnt want to show him what the car could really do.

Lol always a nice way to start the day...gets the heart going better than a cup of coffee!
But if i had to guess, he jumped on you big time. MS3s are snappy but they arent THAT snappy lol I used to have an MS6 and i got waxed by cobalt with basically the same mods as you. Im talkin bus lengths by the time we got to 120 lol

Yeah i destroy MS3's that i have run across. I really didnt mind him pulling me this morning, it was fun either way. Plus i know the car has a lot more in it than what i was able to put down this morning.
I do have to say that these intake temps in the high 30's make the car feel amazing. I want to flash the E47 tune and run to the track and see if i can trap higher than my 115, but i know the traction wont be there.

haha nice run it could of been a bud of mine here from SA did it have a StreetUnit or a COBB sticker on the back? if it was hes fully bolted and meth tuned stock turbo , 60 rolls on my GMS1 with him suck cause its quick i have to get him down to 40-50MPH range to NLS 2nd and im on his ass the whole race FTL tho hehe.

It doesn't really matter weather you caught him or not. If he is worth his salt in the car world... he knows that his car probably wasn't gonna beat you no matter which way this morning's shenanigans ended.

Eh, its all driver error on my side. I was 90% sure he was gonna run but after nothing through first i shifted and he hit, like i said probably a reaction to my BPV. While i love the rain here lately i am dying to get out and play in the cool air.

My car loves the cold air we are having right now .... mid 30's and dry ....... It feels like I've gained 20 Whp even thou I've lost about 3 PSI of peak boost according to the gauge.

Lol. I have to comment on this. I left the ravens game and on the way home with a car full of people, tailgating supplys and a puppy, I got a rev and a matched speed from a ms3. Im on my stock tune for winter and he appears to be cobb tuned with and injen intake and invidia exhaust according to his stickers. I didnt accept his challenge. then a wrx shows up with pretty much the same setup based on his stickers and they run each other 
I followed behind behind them with a my car full of **** and decide I will give it gas in 3rd just for a little bit to see how i stack up. They pulled me slowly. Lol. Then the Wrx slows down and lines up next to me and floors it again. When I ignored the line up I guess they just got fed up and started cutting off this Prius multiple times and hitting there breaks to get the rage out...

Traction... LOL. I wish. I definitely know youre pain. I ran into an STi this weekend and he got about a car on me instantly. Thats when I got that dreaded "traction" at the same time he let off. Ok, done with the thread jack!

when I raced my buddy with a fully bolted and tuned ms3 with my conservative tune ...we did a 40 roll twice but i started in the wrong gear twice (yes a noob moment) and I couldnt catch up but when i figure out I was being retarded and started in the right gear I then put almost 2 cars on him evertime from 40 and the dig race was closer but i still pulled due our longer gears....he recently got his fuel pump upgraded and got an updated cobb tune and wants to race again...ill wait till the weather is decent again to get on that.

Basically, he KILLS everything.
To me..... it looked like the SS/TC was reeling him in and not only did the Subie look like it bogged, it sounded like it.
