Lastnight, I went driving around seeing if there were any car meets going on, then I saw a guy in a Pontiac GTP, I raced before, so I was messing with him again, then we come to a stoplight, and there is this old piece of **** early 90's mustang sitting next to me, I could hear it had a 4 cyl, but when the light turned green, I found out it was turbo'd... So I floored it too, not expecting to catch him, but for some odd reason I managed to pass him...

then later the guy in the GTP, asked me if I wanted to race his friend's car, so I'm like sure why not??

So we go down the road a little bit, and I see a Grand Am sitting there, I asked him what he had done to it, he said intake/exhaust...

So I'm like ok this guy is going to beat me but I'll race for fun anyway, so we get to the spot and line up, and race from a dig, as soon as we took off this thing rocketed past me, like I was standing still, waasn't till I saw the blue flames coming out of the exhaust till I realized it weas meth injected, supercharged, cammed, and a bunch of other ****... and ran 12's in the 1/4...

So I pretty much looked like an idiot, but I had fun... I still love my slow ass car

I'm really surprised you beat a GP GTP, those things can hit 14's stock, but then again I dont know your mods. It was most likely an SVO Mustang, which are from 84-85 I believe, they were 15 second cars. And I'm surprised someone put that much money into a GA, you know what year it was and if it was a GT or not?

 

Yep, I immediately thought of an SVO too. My friend has one and is a big fan. Some people get those suckers running 10's and even 9's on that little four banger.

Yeah that sounds like an awful lot of work done to that GA. Don't know that I'd put THAT much money in it.

 

That gtp wasn't white was it? I was down there not too long ago and raced one on 33 by that harley dealer

there were 3 different ones, I raced the fastest one, the other 2 have basic bolt ons, there is another one I came pretty damn close to beating, but he didn't want to run.

I think it was an LX with an SVO motor or something, cuz I was looking at it as I was passing it, it was just a regular looking stang, I thought the SVO's had some kind of funky bodykit? or am I wrong?

I'm not sure of the year of the GA...

There was a white one there, with black hubcaps he was tagging along, me and that car didn't race though

it had a loud raspy exhaust on it... sounded like it didn't even have an exhaust

 

May not have been the same one he didn't put up much of a fight anyway
