I roll with stock c5z's and ls2 c6's until about 130 when I'm about as aerodynamic as a barn. I don't see why he wouldn't be able to either.

brahs. a decently modded cobalt can hang with a c6. not all of them obviously. but a stock auto ls2, yeah, definitely possible. i did it a few times in my old blue one.

 

There's no way I can make that as much as I'd like to. I've gotta save up for the Ohio Fall meet and get my car ready for it. Putting a new clutch, among other things.

 

an lt1 vette would be a struggle for most cobalts unless your roll racing on the highway (baller)

An LT1 6 speed 'vette was a mid-high 13 fairly easy. There's many stock LT1 f-bodies that have hit high 13's.

My bro's bolt on LT1 car with shitty driving went 13.5 @ high 105.

Just because they CAN hit high 13's doesn't mean they always will. A lot of shitty driver's out there.

All I know is that I walked 3 or 4 LT1 Vette's at Norwalk a few years back... all were running low 14's.

Walked the hell out of a handful of LT1/LT4 Camaro's too.

All comes down to the driver, I suppose.
