He is gonna say that he was talking about the DX, not the EX lol look up the DX numbers, I'm sure they're very similar. This thread = Deededee

just a question, anybody know what's the fastest 0-60 they've pulled out of a stock 2.2 manual? bone stock that is.

My mess up. Close enough though. Try your 2.2 against Hondas 2.2 (h22)

this thread is pointless, comparing a slow car vs a slower car and then arguing about it!

i lost to a 190ish hp n/a b16 civic hatch. All he "claimed" he did was some simple bolt ons and a head swap to make it 11.5:1 compression. Those light little cars are cheap as hell to make fast. Took a 2.8+methanol to beat him.

He also destroyed a 400 hp 240 from a dig, lost by a bus when they rolled. Those things are ugly and look cheap as sin but when you lose to one, its not so cool. Especially when they are primer grey.

yeah all honda mods are cheap but its because they are made for a 1.6 liter motor and they still sound like **** and can only be so fast...

price and engine size really have nothing in common i hope you know. i guess sounding like **** is a very generic term. Any car can sound like doo-doo. and i have no idea where your goin with "can only be so fast".

Dont get me wrong. I LOVE cobalts and tried talking my friend into getting a SS/TC before his MS3. so dont think Im a honda fanboi. The only thing Im a fanboi of is cheap, reliable speed. and honda easily fits that bill

ok most people around arent going to build some fast honda period they are going to try to make it look like its fast and yes they are cheap for the older ones but they usually have major problems which will cost more in the long run also a stock cobalt can beat a lot of honda's out there

Hondas are not cheap to mod I don't know where everyone gets this from...

Quality Honda parts are not cheap at all, some of them are quite expensive actually... but generally they are no cheaper to mod than any other car.

Sure you can go buy someones elses used parts and put something together (this is one advantage they have...everyone trades parts like Legos) and sure they have many bolt on parts but the good stuff aint cheap.
