Sooo, I made a comment on a facebook thread about how I thought this track built s2k was actually kinda slow even though the title of the video said "Insane Fast S2000!!!!" Literally the s2k in the videos engine was stock... bolt ons tune, I think a cam sprocket...

Well someone immediately responded with "My s2k will destroy your car".. Well you know what? I will let you read the convo.







So I had a passenger and so did he, Everyone was pretty cool even though this convo sounded alittle testosteronish. Both passengers made a video. I expect them to be loaded in a bit. My passenger was like "Do you want to roll the windows up?" I said Nah its a nice day out. so sorry about the video when ever I get my hands on that

Kudos to him for admitting he was wrong instead of the typical "at the end of the day its still a Cobalt bro". Much respect. In for videos.

Oh and I still had traction control on for the HPtune run. Unfortunately the car bogged pretty stupid and the launch was very delayed. still, he didnt go on the third beep right away like he was suppose to. I yelled go at him so it was still pretty even start

 

what was done on the s2k? or was it stock like that guy stated.

 

He had an intake with a filter. The intake was wrapped in exhaust heat wrap Then there was this aluminum foil and cardboard airbox thing around the intake which was apparently suppose to keep the heat out but in fact I am 100% sure it was helping pump really hot air into that engine.

It was lowered and had some wheels with BMW center caps.

 

couldve let the car do all the talking. i kinda like it that cobalts have no respect.. people get there feelings hurt when they get beat

 

I mean I thought I was getting played here. Nobody in their right mind would spout off nonsense about how there car will destroy your car without having any real cards in their hand could they? I mean what do you win? I didnt think people bluffed in a call out (race)! I figured theres got to be something on the s2k and Im probably gonna get raped but Im trying anyway.

I toyed with an s2k not to long ago. wasn't to hard to stay ahead. but definitely a decent guy admitting he ran his mouth and lost. he had lost my respect, now he got it back. nice work op in converting an unbeliever

It had a windshield sticker about that #slammed, #lownslow, #stancedlyfe.

It did have exhaust heat wrap around the intake tube. Definately trapping that hot intake air in the ingen bay and keeping that ingen cool

 

This is only the 2nd time i've been to that thursday night car meet outside of the BWW. I dont usually go to car meets cause im a boring person I had to go cause this race needed to happen.
