Cobalt SS/SC vs: Caliber SRT-4

took a lil trip down to the bronx on wed night and when i was coming home up 95 north around 1am a dodge caliber srt-4 had caught up to me. it looked stock plus a mopar sticker on the rear window. 2 younger gentlemen in teh cockpit.

we did 4 60-100+ runs
the first one i took off from 4th...he quickly pulled on me
second from 3rd gear...even over 100 and hit traffic
third from 3rd gear...pulled on him to about a car length almost to the
top of 4th gear...garmin said max 129
fourth race...once again pulled on him to half a car length and then shut it down due to traffic

we hit a construction zone and it gave us a chance to chat
gave the thumbs up and asked if he was stock...
he said yah its stock and he has had it for 2 months...said he took it to the track and ran a 14.0
he said i had him and then asked about my car...told him i was stage 2 with a catback...he asked if i ran it at the track and i said yah when it was stock 14.8
he said oh yah you should be good for the 13s now...

in any event those calibers have huge potential...i would like to see one of them against the new turbo cobalts that are coming out...

btw i never broke the speed limit and street racing is for losers and always keep racing to the track...

You weren't street racing yet you were in traffic? You weren't speeding yet three 60-100mph rolls? I don't know anywhere in the world that has 100mph speed limits!

it's been pointed out but it's that hilarious it needs to be rubbed in:

You called everyone that street races a loser............yet that's exactly what this was.

You claimed to never have broken the speed limit..............yet I don't know anywhere in NY that has a 129mph speed limit.

My feelings aren't hurt, I just feel that if you're going to try and insult someone........don't be a hypocrite, i street race and take the flack that comes with it, but I admit it and I don't deny it when someone asks, and I don't pretend to be perfect on here. Don't try and gain the respect of people on here by lying........ESPECIALLY when you friggin' admit your hypocricy loud and clear -- who's the loser?

Then no one understood sarcasm haha.

Good kill(?). I've been wondering how those Caliber SRT4's would compare to a Stage 2

That is a really bad speed to race at though. The car dogs in third. now if you did a 40 or 50 mph roll and dumped it into 2nd, you'd of taken him.

Low 280's to the crank is a bit more accurate, although I hear mumblings of WHP being in the 260's range, underrated maybe?
