sounds about right the contour is probably around 205 hp with the SRI and 3000 pounds vs 2900 pounds and what like 230 hp in the SS/SC there underrated from GM right. thats around 2-3 cars to 120-130

i remember my old 2001 mercury cougar mtx, i had a 3.0 ford escape motor swap in it with full bolt on's. everrrrything stock on the exterior. i used to love fooling people. but than i was introduced to my lovely LSJ and fell in love with quickness and now im a chevy guy for life

you got to remember this thing is pretty modded though.. he also has a 700 plus f body mustang and a D series eg hatch that'll blow the doors off most cars.. that being said i sure that little svt isn't even close to stock in the internals

i once beat my friends svt contour with my ls no joke and he was a pretty good driver we went from a 1/4 mile dig and i won by a bumper he had an intake i had CAI/catback, idk just my expirience with them, but i bet the motor was tired in it because he blew it up a month later lol

I used to cruise with a group in AZ and there was this guy that had a turbo'd contour SVT that was crazy fast...awesome sleeper car. they can be beastly if you have enough $ to pay for stuff when it breaks.
