So I meet up with a this Terminator last night. I was told he was completely stock and I thought I might of had a chance. When I got there he told me he had full exhaust, X-pipe, intake and tune by SCT. I talked to a few ppl that have at Cobras they say he is about 410rwhp. He thought he was about 450rwhp, we all know thats not possible without being pullied. I never got the chance to see under his hood. Before I get flamed I have a sick tune, we all know that I shouldn't have keeped up as much as I did but my car has suprised me over and over again. I lost, I knew I would but here are the vids.


I shifted slow, scared to mess up my syncros for the 3rd time but it wouldn't have made a difference if I shifted faster.

1st was a 40, he totally missed 2nd but I stayed in it. I figured it would be my only chance with him.

another 40 punch and again he was in 1st, better run but once he got into 3rd he just blew by me. til about 120ish

This is from a 50 punch, the vid doesnt start til we are already getting in 3rd. We take it up to 150-155 says the cobra driver. His third gear is insane, thats when he would pull but after that I would stop the pull or close it in a little once in 4th and 5th gears. eEther way I lost

really good races. for a 2.9 pullied car you did really well I think. I agree with you tho, no way is that cobra making 450rwhp unless he's pulley swapped.

cool race but I wanna be a debbie downer for sec here. What if there was a car in front of the 18 wheeler that wasnt paying attention and just decided to get over into the left lane? you guys would have absolutely not been able to stop everyone in that situation would be dead.

good race but I wouldnt have accelerated like that past a blind spot like that.

Your right, it could of been real bad but it wasn't. I like to believe that when I run on the street I make it as safe as possible, even though racing on the street is stupid and can never be safe.

 

Good races. You actually stand a good chance of beating a stock blower Cobra if they want to run their car into 5th gear. WOT in 5th or 6th gear with the stock HEaton is a no-no. Also, not trying to down your car or anything but the Cobra lost a good 1 1/2-2 car pull by starting in 1st at 40, it's pretty much touching the gas and immediately having to shift. It worked to your advantage though.


Your car is certainly quick for a 2.9'' pulley car though. Hope to see more videos from ya.

yeah I wanted to tell him that when he shifted it hurt him, but it did help me alot so I kept my mouth shut.

 

I do the same if someone I'm running is doing something stupid
