cody has, from what he says, never lost to an srt-4. and the only way an SS would lose to an srt-4, is if the cobalt driver didnt know how to drive. well, im calling you out cody. i want to see how badass these cars are (with an uber badass driver such as you say you are).

i will have a cashiers check waiting for you in topeka next year. i will pay for your entry into the 1/4 mile track AND i will fill your tank up with 92/93 octane upon arrival. hell, i might even offer lunch or something, who knows. but, the fact is, you only talk smack on the srt-4, and its community. so my offer stands... cashiers check (for reimbursement for entry fee, some gas money, snacks) and a full tank of at least 92 octane upon arrival in topeka. im am sure with the HUNDREDS of srt-4s around, you wont have any trouble showing the entire ss and srt-4 community that, in fact, the ss can outgun any srt-4 on the road.

he bashes on the srt-4 at any given opportunity. but no one has seen his claims, just his words. this way, if he does show, there will be many many witnesses, and the truth will be discovered. the ss s/c is one pretty clean looking ride, i have nothing against them, just the asshat drivers that bash on it for no reason, other then it being a turbocharged 'girls car'. cody can accept or decline. but i assume it will be the latter.

 

Problem is how is a 15yo supposed to get his parents permission to drive (w/o a license) to another state, with a car that he doesn't even have access to?

i haven't read many of his posts... usually as soon as i see the words beat, outrun or srt in the same post i usually ignore the whole thing because it's going to get out of hand from both sides of the market.

Im going to tell it exactly how it is and those that don't agree than you are dumb.

1) Stock for stock the Srt-4 is a tick or two quicker in the quarter mile than the Cobalt SS/SC. I am a experienced driver and with my race against a stock srt-4 I had him through second, but by the beggining of third he pulled and passed me, I would say about a car length difference in the quarter mile.

2) I have raced stock wrx's (non sti) and beat them, along with type S rsx's, but the srt-4 is a quicker vehicle STOCK.

3) Which brings me to the point of motors. We are all modders here, and many (including myself) will more than likely ditch my SC for a turbo in the near future. The ecotec engine is the BEST CURRENT 4 CYL MOTOR as far as consistancy and reactions to motor mods. COUNTLESS AND NUMEROUS TRACK AND SPEED RECORDS PROVE THIS, YOU CAN'T DENY FACTS All of these track parts that are making records are available for our cars in the GMPP catalog. It's all how fast you want to go.

4) CodySS is very wrong in stating his car is untouchable and that he can take any srt-4 , it's completely wrong and laughable. If he had his eco built up than hell yeah he could run good, but at it's current state to say he'll never lose to ANY srt-4 is BS.

5) I think competition is a good thing, even though the guy in the srt-4 beat me, he was astounded how I took off from the whole, and he loved the interior and said he never knew they looked that nice. His car was black and the srt-4's look so mean from the front in that color. Competition is a good thing, I'm glad it's now the imports chasing the domestics in terms of performance.

6) Proven fact, no matter how fast your car is, there is always some sleaper out there that's faster than yours, always.

But yeah CodySS is a tool and reading some of the BS that he posts kill numerous brain cell in itself. I will say this, the Cobalt SS is a beautiful car, no doubt, (minus the wing) and cant wait to see one on the street. Is there a wing delete option?

 

best one you have on there. and im not saying the ss s/c isnt quick..i know it is. and it is a clean car, if gm was just a little quicker, i would be driving one instead but oh well, here i sit.

and there will be more then me stock, im sure. but yes, im also sure there will be a lot of stage 3's and big turbo'd skittles rolling around too.

What exactly would be the point of this?

To prove the fact that a modified SRT-4 can beat a 100% stock Cobalt SS? Thats like me picking on a stock Mustang GT in my Camaro.

This thread clearly adds to the fact that some SRT-4 owners are the dumbest f****** people on earth. And is also why you are so fun to pick on.

I think we need to find an stock SRT-4 in Nebraska to race cody's "factory freak" or whatever he claims it is. Or an evo or STI to race him from a roll because "they are easy to kill from a roll" right?
