CSS Vs IRL
CSS Vs IRL
Had a few runs with a Cobalt SS S/C on Saturday night. Cobalt SS S/C has a smaller pulley, air-box modification, and Boost Bypass Mod. IRL has K&N Typhoon. 3 runs were recorded for your review.........
Cobalt SS S/C: 2 | IRL: 1
Cobalt probably would've had the 3rd one as well but dumped the clutch in 2nd too fast.

The undersized pulley is probably the best first mod to get. I could hear the Cobalt's supercharger instantly come on at any rev range while the IRL (no pulley swap nor the Boost Bypass Mod) wouldn't start whining till about 3-4K. Typical margin of victory for the Cobalt was 2-3 car lengths. All in all it was a very eye opening run. Pulley swap will do wonders for the LSJ as is evident by the videos.
