Well on the way home I was just cruising. Kinda listening to music real quiet and nursing a crazy headache I had. When all of a sudden I see a blacked out cts 2 lanes over. As he passes I hear the roar of destruction from the V-8... Its a N/A not a Supercharged one. Sounded ridiculously good. I pull up next to him and downshift to 4th. He kinda goes by slow and when he is about a car and a half ahead, at 60 and right about the time I'm gonna shift into 3rd he just hammers it and starts pulling... I am already putting it into 3rd so I put the go pedal down. He started about a car ahead, and didn't honk... so at this point I was just trying to catch up lol. I was too lol... I hit 4th at about 105+/- and kept closing the gap til about 125 when I shut down due to traffic. Started about 2 cars back and got to within about a half a car from 60-120mph. I was trying to get him to slow down to 40 or heck to 60 for that matter. I pulled off at the next exit behind him and asked if it was the SC model. The guy said no. I asked what he had done and he just smiled and turned right. I got back on the road and continued home. It sounded like it was a full exhaust at least. I figure to keep ahead of me the way he did (without a blower) he would have to be putting down some serious power out of that V-8...

Anyways... If I see him again I'll try and get a good run in. I never have my camera on when someone wants to run... oh well when I get to the drags in havasu this weekend maybe I can get a good one.

Even if one of us did beat a CTS-V ...... at the end of the run they are pulling away in a sweet caddy .....and were still rocking the Turbo econo-box.

True enough... I would rather have the CTS-V for sure. Its a sexy looking car. I could barely hear my car over the exhaust on that thing... which is saying alot since mine is ridiculously loud.
