Was on my way home last night when I heard something real loud in front of me. I go to check it out and its the loudest cts I've ever heard haha. I was only able to record the first run with my i phone but we lined up a few more times after. The guy ended up being real cool and said I hung pretty well for being a cobalt. It was hard to talk to him with his car being so loud but he did say he had i/h/e with muffler deletes(probably why it was so loud) not sure if anything else.

The thing that sucked was this guy never let me honk, he would just take off from like 35 everytime. The one time we did take off together I was right by his side until i missed 3rd trying to nls. . He took me by a car to a car and a half each time with the jump to like 110-120. Pretty sure it would have been a different outcome if I had my e85 tune on.

my dad had that year cts v with full exhaust and it had a nice tone

he upgraded to a newer cts v now tho

 

How do people miss shifts? Hell i dont even miss shifts in my sloppy ass 230k mile saturn even if im powering through the gears lol.

 

That cts-v sounds raspy as hell, obviously cause no mufflers I'm assuming but damn..

You hung in there pretty good, I'm sure if you acually lined up and honked it off without him just gunning it, it would have been different

 

I missed the shift cuz my stupid shift linkage sucks and it comes undone a lot.
