great kill!! but it deifnitely wasnt a GT. you would maybe be able to beat a GT by your self, but never with 3 people in the car.
its funny... lately i have seen so many guys in their V6 stangs with the chrome tipped dual exhaust, the left side still angled down since it just has a tip on it, and the right side pointing straight. then they have the finishing touch... the K & N stickers on the windows to show off their after market FILTER! they hop out of the thing like its a beast capable of destroying its older brother, the GT. not all V6 guys are like this, but some are, and its the funniest thing ever when they try to take on everything on the road.

even if it was a 96-98, i still dont think he'd pull that much with 3 passengers. never know though.

True, the 96-98s were VERY slow! So even with 3 passengers and a great driver, I can see how a kill of this magnitude couldve happened!

I have to say that i agree with that ^^^^^ the 5.0 is a slow engine. the 4.6 was a much faster enigine hower the 5.0 respnds emaqualtely to bolt ons. so it was mostlikly a 5.0 with out bolt ons. those mustangs with full boltons are quite fast. its possible if it was a
5.slow no mods. or like an intake or something.

plez don't delete this.

So now its 2 buslenghts, but before 10 carlengths, make up your mind, and no that will never happen with your stock evo.

well actualy it looked like a fairly new one. it was black, but yea really cant say what year (i was a little high off coccaine did it twice that night) but im pretty sure the stang was in the last 3 or 4 years of production, anyways he DID get his ass handed to him when i tossed it in second and floored it. evenn with the 3 passengers 2 of em were chicks so lightweight but it boosted like it was just me driving solo. im thinking he could have gave up after about 80km/h or so maybe, dunno, but i was flyin and he was behind. definatly very fun and no now that i remember it i know it was not a GT.

negative captain..

what you raced was a V6 SN95 Gen 1 model more then likely.. with the added weight the mustang was not a GT, i have raced a few SN95 GTs and with 3 peoples added weight i would not be able to win..

5.0 motors are not slow neither, a Stock 5.0 will come down to a drivers race in the 1/4 (not higway, motors tend to fall flat around 110 on stock 5.0) 5.0 1/4 stock are anywhere from 14.2 - 15.3'ish depending on auto or manual.. my 5.0 ran stock at 14.5 @98 mph with a 2.3 60' so the times are pretty dead on with a stock Balt.
With a little bit of motor work the car ran 12.2@110 still NA and the P1SC is about to be put on to get it down in the 9's

How the hell can you not tell the difference between a GT and a Pony?

You raced a Pony, btw.

most people cant distinguish the years of the Mustangs, Especially the differences in a GT and v6 just by looking at them.. pretty much its just mustang enthusiasts that can pick um apart instantly.. lots of v6 try to look like GTs also, making it more difficulty for the avg Joe.
