when i let off i was about 2 feet behind his front bumper... befor he turned the boost up from 12 to 15 i would beat him by a car or so
we raced from a dig and i took him so bad, i have heared they are so hard to launch

and learn how to film races PLEASE. Have the camera in one of the cars racing or have a car follow you thats faster than both of you k.
I run close to side side by side with 1gen GS-X's (through 2nd, then I pull about 4 in 3rd)! I don't see how this is possible! A 2.2 running side by side with a 1 gen GS-T??? They are high 13 to low 14 second cars. 195hp in the 1g's!

gsx = gst with awd.
a stock gs-t is a low 15 second car at best. stock gsx's can juuust hit some 14's. They can be monsters with some mods though, the 4g63 is a great motor other than the crankwalk thing with 2g's.
But from a roll, the GST should own the GSX... more drivetrain loss in an AWD application.
Yes, I was off on the times... i meant to say the GSX was a high 13, low 14. I've seen 1g GSX's with just exhaust hit 13.8@99.
And either way, they are trapping high 90's... they should wax 2.2's... and 2.4's as well... should only be competition for stock LSJ's.

you are right that he should be owning 2.2's, but you are way off, and i don't know where you are getting your info. No gsx or gst will get anywhere near 13's stock. They are low 15 sec cars trapping low 90's. They respond very well to mods, but i still bet that guy that ran a 13.8 had boost control.

but the early 90 eclipse gs-t runs low 15s with good driver, not everyone can drive. There has also been proof of cobalt 2.2 with e/i running 15.3 quarter mile.......Even if he is not running the car as good as it could be, why is it impossible for me to stay up with him?????
tuesday i raced a 1999 eclipse gs-t on 18 psi with 3'' downpipe and exhaust....20-80 he was only about 2-3 cars ahead
