I raced my buddies eclipse when i was stock and so was he (2005 Eclipse GTS) and from a 40mph roll i started pulling slowly on him and faster as i picked up speed. I dont think you have a chance in a ss/na unless he sucks at driving

With headers and CAI, that thing is going to be keeping up with the LNF.

Probably 14.0's in the 1/4 if he's a good driver.

Man I dont know about that a 2005 gts comes with 210 hp and a 3300 curb weight I dont think its gonna come close to a 14 flat maybe a 2006 eclipse with the new v6 but I d say drivers race with the advantage going to the eclipse.

Eclipse GTS's aren't too slouchy. They have a pretty potent V6.....and if you said he has headers, intake, exhaust.......I think he should win.

Maybe if you had a little more done to your 2.4 i'd say differently, but in this case, im gonna say the Eclipse.

Very high 14's...like 14.8- 14.9 maybe if he was a good driver.
I have read up a lot about 3g eclipses because i was going to get one before i bought my balt but after reading about them i found out that they take a ton of money to make fast.

a Header, CAI, and exhaust isnt going to do much for it.

gts is a 15 second car, a low 15 with a good driver. An ss/na can be a low 15 with a good driver also.

I see in your pics you have raced ur car at the track but i dont see any times that you have posted for it, what did it run?

EDIT, nvm your gunna lose, you neglected to tell everyone your car is an automatic

they are slow as *****! they have the 6g72 engine in em. the same engine in my dodge stratus. with cai and headers the car is putting down about 180-190whp. its about 170whp stock. they are heavy too. i dont know what mods you have but you should win or it will be close

No, only the older 4G63 equipped Eclipses had turbos. The newer ones, like the GTS you wanna race, have either N/A 4-cyls (RS, GS) or a V6 (GT, GTS).

expect 10 more hp on top of my numbers since he is stick. i was giving you automatic numbers. 50 shot will be more than enough to take him down

The new GTS would easily win, even the 3gs would probably win.

My friend raced a gts in his rsx-s w/intake, header, exhaust and it stayed on his back bumper. Im not sure about everything the eclipse had but i think it was headers and exhaust

The older GS (N/A) Spyders had the 4G64.........all the other N/A models had the 420A.
