Screwing around like any normal Saturday night and I ended up going out to race an EVO. He said it was stock but it sounded otherwise.


Anyway he got a good launch and I got a bad launch and I tried to real him in.
I couldn't pull him in fast enough. Next time I will have to open the cutout.

not to bad but those cars are extremely hard to beat from a dig. especially, with our cars. good run though

 

Oh trust me I tried from a roll after, He didn't want anything to do with it.

I think If I opened my cutout I would have had enough to at least get beside him.

But I can't make any excuses about my horrible launch.

 

you probably don't gain that much power from your cutout

 

u have a 2.79" on 45lbs or 60lbs injectors

Yeah, I ran on the same day, A few with it closed then a few with it open. Now I don't race with it closed anymore.

 

Were you picking up more in the 1/8th or 1/4? do you have any slips you may have convinced me to get a cutout

 

Not a bad race man, and ya i know why he wouldn't race you from a roll. I eat up my buddies gutted evo all the time from a roll and he hates it. Just keep practicing those launches man you will get em.

times have changed.. not EVERYONE JUST does dig races.


Every single c6z06 video i have seen has been from a roll.

I know a guy in our local car club who has over $1,000,000 in cars alone, from c6z, to sl 63 AMGs, to M3s, to a Heffner Twin Turbo Ford GT, to 2 lambo gallardos, to porsches.

he ONLY does highway rolls. 50ish to 180mph. races for big money too. We have an 11sec STi also in our club who only does roll races.


Personally, i like to see 1 dig race and a few roll races.


That shows whose car is actually faster, not whose car cam equipped with AWD or who can afford the big drag radial.
