Well My dad and I were test driving an Evo MR when an M3 convertible gets behind us and starts flashing his lights. We immediatley pull away from him about 2 car's lenghts. He then begins to pull on us. Once again we floored it and left him in the dust. The race then ended because of traffic. The best part is that the dealer guy actually wanted us to race the BMW.

Anything can happen on the street, like a SRT4 beating a 03 cobra. The evo should be quite a bit lighter then a M3 Vert so yeah.

Wow some one just found out there adopted. Theres many SRT4 that can beat cobras from a roll they have 50 trims you dont. You dont even know how much horse you put down giving me more of a reason to belive the cobra was lacking the drivers mod. Did your camera man have parkinsons or was the video filmed during an earthquake?

well a smg vertible m3 would be a mid 14. car i think. i read an article of a smg coupe running a 14.3 or something in bmw performance mag. m3's are my dream car, but from a roll i do believe an new 06 evo mr with the new valve timing could take a smg powered m3, possibly a 6 speed

No one really cares, and im sure when tryit was talking about an srt beating an 03 cobra he was talking about a stock or lightly modded srt one not a 50trim vs. a stock cobra.

 

I believe the story...I've ridden in both, and while the M is fast, it didn't put me in my seat like the Evo did.
