I actually got a few good races sat nite while cruzing out to sav with some friends I was 2 and 2 that night, first race was with a stock 09 cobalt ss/tc from a 40 roll and I believe I had him by about 4 car lengths or so by 110ish second race was agaisnt a lighten with pulley mods to up his boost ( I think they recorded it so if they did ill post the vid) but we went from a 40 roll and I made sure he jumped first sense it takes them alittle longer for it to kick in and go, but I won by about a car or alittle more, the third race was agaisnt a friends 08 s/c mustang gt from a 60 roll, I started and third and he let me jump first but was only about 2 cars ahead of me by the time we hit 120, then finally last race was agaisnt a 240 with a motor swap and boosted and from a 40 roll he got me by about 2 cars or so by 120 which I do have video of from his car and will post on here when I get off work. - just thought I would share with u guys alittle from my sat nite

I guess ill have to fix that in my sig ill do that when I get home but the empty bottle was from my old car, I was gonna hook it up in the balt but decided not to so I sold it to a mustang owner who is using it. But my car does have the 2.6 with 60 pound injectors, meth, dual h/e, ported s/c, etc. And I don't see it as much of a drivers race he is the third ss/tc I beat and the other ones where worse then him

 

seems believable with your mods, I'm close to the same setup as you but with a 2.8 ring and I put around 2 cars on stockish ss/tc's.

 

Uh I wouldn't expect you to, the only thing that can prove it is a video or dyno numbers showing more/equal #'s to not believe a drivers race.

get off your high horse, a heavily modded ss/sc can easily take a ss/tc. Hell I can beat stockish ones with my 2.8 ring and supporting mods.

 

did any of the tc's brake boost when they raced you?

 

I raced a Stockish SS/SC in my wife's GLI and won. It happens. It could also just be shitty drivers too though. (In the SS/SC vs SS/TC discussion.) A stock SS/TC in most cases puts down over 245WHP and 250Ftlbs of torque. So a good driver in an SS/TC should edge out a 250-260WHP SS/SC with 220ish ftlbs of torque. If both drivers are of the same skill level.
