Since no one's posted I'll go ahead and tell ya. Even with Stage 2, GT's kill us from a dig, from a 40 roll, as long as you're staged, it depends on the Mustang (they have factory freaks just like we do).

I wouldn't expect much when racing an '07 GT, they're plenty fast and can easily be made into straight-line land rockets. Run a stock '04 or older, you'll be happier with the outcome.

From a dig, traction pwns us. From a roll I eat them for dinner... as in, not even a close race. A buddy of mine has an 07 GT with an intake and catback, and we have some long straight deserted stretches of road here. He gets pissed.

You don't count, Mr. 2.5...

Wonder how badly you'll dust one with the TVS? Or was this post-TVS (I'm thinking no, but I'm asking anyway)?

You sir are an anomaly, a freak of driving nature... or you just launch well. I've seen your times, definitely nice. For the average driver though, I can't imagine them keeping up with a low-13's car with just Stage 2.

haha... that's how I am with my stage 2, I get excited when I lose. It's almost a relief to finally see a car worth my gas.

I raced a 2000 body style mustang GT that was supercharged putting out 450 to the wheels. He had HUGE honkin' tires in the rear. I kicked his ass off the line that's how much torque he had, but once we were across the intersection he grabbed and flew past like I wasn't even moving!

I was excited...lol.

I have never raced Nick from a dig, so I don't know how I would do against him there. I'll be tuning his **** soon though. That should speed him up a bit.

apparently you guys are driving around in tonka land if it is seriously that rare to come across a car faster than mid 13's. I really would have expected him to pull away from you harder, so good driving. With stage 2 you should even it up pretty well. Once he is tuned though its gonna take more. intake/tune s197 = 300whp

Nick said it's his gearing. I've driven his car. It's a dog from a roll.

does he have the 3.31's or the 3.55's? either way 4.1's would wake it up a lot so you are right there. damn 5 speeds.

Yea, his tune says 3.31. He said he wants to get the 3.55s I think. I have seen quite a few things in his tune that could wake it up a bit. Hell they are commanding like 11.8 at WOT or something. iirc

I have a shelby tune I was going to styart him with since he has intake and catback and go from there. Right now he is being a puss, afraid the tune will FU his warranty.

I would tell him to put 4.10s or 3.73s at the absolute minimum. If he puts in 3.55s he will hardly feel a difference. I put 4.10s in for my first mod and my car felt 10 times faster.
