Finally raced a nice SS/SC

So we were on the way to orlando, I and 3 other members, caravaned down. So one of the guys has a very fast SS/SC (2.8, 60's, HE, a good tune, DP, exhaust, etc.) And we ran from a roll.

And I was in my SS/TC with a superchips tune, CAI, and MD.

I will let you all speculate on the outcome of this race.

well you either: called him really fast and tried to list all his mods to brag, or as an excuse for your loss..... tough call i say the latter?

Nah neither one of us had any excuses, it was actually a good race

One of the 2 cars involved started to steadily pull away from the other one after about 110, the other car shut down before the driver of the winning car hit 5th gear.

I am still not going to post who won, but it was one of the best races I have had since owning my car.

I am not going to admit the outcome, I am a biased party

Okay if the 2 cars were even at 110, then the 2 cars are even. If you're going over 110 in a race, then the question isnt who is the fastest, its who is the dumbest. Either way, post vids next time. Good to see the LSJ and LNF are still running pretty close.

I am not sure which is dumber, going over 110, or going over 110 while trying to shift and hold a video camera at the same time.

I don't want to post who won from the constant pissing match between LNF people and LSJ's around here. This is more of a callout to the guy I raced. (He has been PM'd) to say good race, it was fun, and one of the best ones I have had.

They know who they are, and they know who one, and I also know who won. But who won is irrelevant. Its about the fun, and the thrill of the race. Also noone got hurt, this was on I4 with no cars for miles in front.

Both are pretty dumb ive seen to many incidents where someone almost wipes out at that speed and just imagine if you were dead even and one of you swung into the others lane I dont think youd be telling this story right now man.

I have seen people die at sebring or on a 1/4 mile track. You race there is always that chance. Less people die on the autobahn than on american roadways, and they go in speeds well in excess of what I have been doing

they do it daily on the ab, and most americans are inattentive while driving.

Okay you continue to tell yourself that, until one day you take someones life. With your attitude about high speed racing I hope the other LSJ won but I could really give 2 ***** less unless it was at the track.

this is very interesting though? who ever won didnt win by much though it seems like so no matter what for a LNF to keep even with the LSJ, is pretty freakin amazing!! cause although the supercharger is always kickin in, its still up against a turbo lol congrats to whom ever won it, i know with the stage 2 kit bumps you up to the stock power of a LSJ, then you count CAI, Exhaust, some might upgrade injectors to drop the pulley size down some more. if you did all that then your gonna have more then 260-270 easily!:Twothumbs

my bad lol, and yeah from my point of view it did, cause GM stage 2 will take you from stock 205 to 260 alone no intake or nothing. so i think the SS/SC won just my opinion but i think it won

holy **** 260whp from stg2 lol.
most stg2 balts dyno 230whp
and ones with the mods the op listed do around 260-270whp and a tuned/intaked lnf makes 300whp so theres no way the lsj won. and the fact it was close the lnf should be embarrassed.
