You should hear his car hum when we're at a stop from the custom intake. Sounds seriously amazing. He's also got a performance chip in it. I think I can take him though. Hopefully.

Just race and find out.

In my opinion you should have beaten the RSX-S by a lot more but it all depends on the driver/s.

Good kill. Maybe should be moved to war stories though.

It'll be close. My friend's 240 is also gutted, he's usually just a hair slower than my other friend's 350z. I think it'll be a close race.

Edit: I am sure of one thing - the 240 should *definitely* be faster than the RSX-s, so make sure you're flying solo when you take him on.

At my school this kid with a rsx-s challenged me to a race of my choice, he's got an intake. I obviously have a ss s/c with the stuff in my sig. (including intake). I weigh about 165, and this kid is like 4' 11" 90 lbs!!! You guys think I can beat him?

if you can drive, you should never lose to one that isnt fairly well modified

Ok well I'll take that as a yes concidering I can launch really hard and shift without lifting the gas pedal, but now the question is, from a roll or from a dig? I am a drag racer myself so I like racing from a stop, but with first gear being so short, I don't know...

ok man, if you can launch well then obviously take it from a dig, thats their weak spot to begin with. and just because you can powershift doesnt mean you can drive well, and powershifting is more of a gain in the mind then it is on the street

Its my opinion that in the average street car it does very little but hurt the car to shift with out getting off the gas. I perfer shifting "Normal". Its easier on the car and on the street just as fast.

260hp @6100 / 232 trq @ 3500-5000, they also weigh 3525lbs. My uncle has one of these, type S with the sequential whatever you call it transmission (auto tranny that wishes it was a standard). There is a 6-speed manual option available on the 2003 Type-S models, if this is the one he has you may be in for a bit of a fight. I've no idea what these cars dyno at, but if it's like all other honda's I'd expect WHP to be close to 220@ the wheels, with less then 200 trq to the wheels. If it's an auto you should beat it without much trouble, off the line they're pretty slow (no real way to launch it short of a neutral drop...and no one in their right mind would put their 3.2CL through that).

I've been in my uncle's car numerous times...they are damn nice cars.

I ran 15.1 with a 2.3 60' shifting like a granny. Powershifting definaly helps.

i lost .1s at the track powershifting. practice enough and get your shifts quick...not that tough, just get into a rythm with the car
