ME(09 SS): Intake,Charge Pipe,Downpipe, NO tune.

04 WRX: stock turbo,a few bolt ons,tuned,launch control. thinks he is around 280 crank (kid knows his **** btw)


as some of you may know i have been hunting down my buddys wrx for awhile, he wanted his new tires before we raced. got his tires on a few weeks ago and we finally got the chance to mess around. sort of.. it started to rain right before we went out of Courceee, so we said f it and still did a few 40 rolls and 1 dig?(cobalt vs wrx w lc&rain=fail.) so anyways we did 2 40 rolls. the first race i missed 3rd and passed him after 100 to put about 2 cars on him by 120 where i let off. 2nd 40 we were dead even until 100 were i then pulled about 3 car lengths befor letting off. 3rd race we went from 45, i slowly pulled a car before 100 until it was game over again. yes we did do 1 dig i guess you could say for ***** and giggles and it was pritty pointless.. i had the factors or fwd/rain/his 4wd launch control all against me so i let off at 30 bc there was no point i could not get traction. we ARE going to do this all again when it is a nice dry night, we will do some more rolls and deff some digs. i will make sure to record it and will update you guys. flame suit is on for racing in the rain.. & you guys should visit mexico sometime if you haven't already. beautiful place

My friends brother has a WRX I wanna give it a shot. It has an STi sticker on the trunk, did they come with badges or stickers? I dunno anythin about subis really only to not race from a dig with my fail wheel drive

 

im not sure i think it is a badge, his is non-sti though. and i kno i already told him he is going to win haha

 

Yeah I kinda figured it would be a badge, what kinda manufacturer would put stickers instead of a badge really? It also has a low spoiler but that could always be swapped or maybe an option.

A riding buddy of mine w a subie asked me if i wanted to race someone he knows w a stg 2 sti. He want me to race him so it will shut this guy up i told him im game whenever we both are down south of the border lol

the newer sti's with stage 2 are pretty quick, but a tuned LNF should still take em down. however, if you come across a protuned one, that will be a good race.

 

Yea my buddy is guesstimating 330 at the fly on it with its "canned" stg 2 tune. Im not worried bout it tho its all in fun anyways lol

what tune does he have cobb???
even tuned they still only run mid to high 13s

i have beat my friends protuned sti from a dig and a roll

most awd drivers rely on launch control tell him not to use it and you will walk all over him

 

to be honest im not sure, i know he has a cobb intake but i think he tunes it himself im not sure. i will make sure to get all his specs when we rerace in dry weather. soon.
