First encounter with tuned and bolted MR
Well like it says MR auto so no calling driver mod , tuned and bolted , about dead even but the balt pulled on it....
Surprisingly they have a decent top end. Wasn't expecting that , maybe some one who is more informed with the MR can chime in.
Was a DAMN good race ... I was surprised he was keeping up with me actually.
Twas Fun !!!!! He said it was around 385 HP+ is that accurate for these? Ive seen a few on youtube but ....
I have a new Droid mount that has a camera hole on it now so I will be able to catch some of these here soon ....

Evo MR right? 385whp is alot for a bolt on with tune. well it depends on the Dyno i guess. if he had bolt ons, cams with a tune i could see around 360whp. who knows though. i made 338whp 324wtq with just a turbo back exhaust, intake and a tune.
the top end is pretty good after being tuned, i took mine to 8k once and it pulled the all the way up. i dont have an MR though.

Guess it was a X. 385 is hella lot for bolt-on and tune. That one video was posted up here not long ago of a X going from 235whp 266wtq. Then slowly added bolt-ons, long story short 328whp 311wtq was the outcome. But whatever, even if it was 385 wheel, good for you woman!

385hp is puching it my buddy killed his MR's dual clutch gearbox after hitting 410 and running it hard on the streets.
those transmissions are not built to handle great power. they fail.

The 4b11 gets great power from bolt ons. I would still guess around 350 though.

Displacement: 122 cu in, 1998cc
Power (SAE net): 291 bhp @ 6500 rpm
Torque (SAE net): 300 lb-ft @ 4400 rpm
TRANSMISSION: 6-speed manual with automated shifting and clutch
DIMENSIONS:
Wheelbase: 104.3 in Length: 177.0 in
Width: 71.3 in Height: 58.3 in
Curb weight (C/D est): 3700 lb
PERFORMANCE (C/D EST):
Zero to 60 mph: 5.3 sec
Standing ź-mile: 14.0 sec
Top speed (drag limited): 150 mph
So the car has ball park HP as GM 1 Balt (to crank). BUT>>>+700 lbs baby! That's equivalent to giving up 70HP right there. So yeah..to *keep* up he would need to get those ponies back.
YEP, that Evo would need to be around 360 HP (crank) to run with ya.

i own an MR. im going to tell you right now it was 385+ bhp.... MR have 27% powertrain loss depending on the dyno. a full bolt ont mr with cams might make 385 whp. with cams and meth it would make 400+ whp with some *****/stupidity/and alot of tuning....

Dyno, tuned with an Accessport
YouTube - Evo X dyno tune
I have the dyno sheet at home. ill take a pic and post it later.
the power delivery is amazing. so much easier to drive than with a Cobb stage 1 tune. it just wants to pull.
