well today i happened upon a SUPERSNAKE so i said to my self what the heck im gona @ least watch it walk away....
@ the light i got him out the hole like a car(he was spinning) and then he caught traction and he put like 5 cars on me and was still having trouble keeping the tires planted @ 75mph im pretty sure he was in 3rd.
im w/out a doubt a Chevy guy but WOW what a beast. the guy lives bout 2 miles away from me and i see it all the time....its the 500hp version but i know hes done alot of work to it. its rumored to have around 700hp. either way it was fun!

Mods for 300whp? Either way 300whp in a car that weights 3K isn't fast. It won't hang with a GT500 and deff not a Super Snake.

Good race but it wasn't a Supersnake if it came with 500. The base Shelby's come with 500hp. Supersnakes come with over 700 from the factory.

there is a guy at work with a GT... his uncle ordered a shelby gt500 and sent it in to be made into a super snake... all the old parts off the GT500 that were upgraded were given to his nephew free for his GT... lucky bugger...

Oh, I thought he meant 05 balt with 300 horse. I spanked many of those 300 horse mustangs with my 93 z28 6 speed. All it has is hypertech chip and 160 tstat and exhaust. I dont think anything else is done to it. It may had gears, I am not sure. ( I bought it in 2004). I also ran one of the "new" looking ones with dealer tags on it 3 years ago and beat it to from a dig to 140. Mustangs are nice but you wouldnt beat a 500 horse with a 300 horse unless dude couldnt drive. And OP, at least you have ***** and arent afraid to lose!

I am no guru of anything, I still have much to learn about my car even. Last time anything with less then 500hp beat me was a bike that's in one of these other videos. Yamaha R6 with a 130lb rider that never hits the rev limiter.

OP said it had 500hp though, thus it is not a Supersnake.

I'd personally put a biggwer aftermarket blower on for less. Supersnake is just paying for the name.

Does the Super snake package keep the warranty in tact like the GM stage upgrades for the Cobalt SS SCs/TCs?

Not sure but I would seriously doubt it. Shelby probably offers their own warranty with it.

Super Snake package isn't "Ford". Though they do have blower packages for Mustangs that retain the warranty.
