First STi Kill!!!!!

Alright, well i work with someone that drives an 05 STi, were good friends and all, and i love racing him, i always just messed around knowing he would win. So i raced him when i was stock, and killed me, then when i had a 2.9 pully, still rocked me, and now with my tune and all the good stuff, thats when it became interesting....

Last night he told me he would race, so i was like cool, we both take the highway, so i told him 40 roll, and he was like no way(mind you its 2am when i get off so no traffic), i finally got him to go down to 40, and we took off, it was nose to nose til about 60ish, then he had to shitf, and i took off! So i slowed down and he told me my car is fast now, but im like i had the advantage, so we then went from liek a 65 roll(i drop to 2nd) and we go, i walked all over him then becasue of my tune and redline...then the good race came, wee go from an 80 roll, this is now his territory, and i thought it was fair so i tried, and we go, it was nose to nose the whole way, then he had to shift since we were goign about 105 at the time and im still in 3rd pulling..i was so happy when i found out i just beat and STi... I thought my car was quick but not STi quick...

im am now satisfied with my car

After you should have made him feel better and started from a dig.

Good kill!

good kill....I've had a fair share of sti's for dinner.... just don't go from a dig.... it's a hard race to win.... but from a 40 roll... forget about it unless he has some good mods he's all yours. but with a 7400 rpm redline (which is what I guess you have) its so much fun to pull almost 1000 rpm each gear on em

yea i got a 7400 redline, and i was going about 60-65 and droped to 2nd, i was at about 6k rpm but it got me the jump on him to take off

he wanted to go from a dig, but i talekd him out of it since we just got off work adn were going home i asked him where we would stop, since all the light are on corners, and a lot of lights in a row, no good place to go, so he said a roll will work

ill be racing him again this weekend, and from a dig, we'll see how it goes

damn dude careful you don't mess up your clutch none cus a mistake at that speed can screw up your clutch easy or break something. I did that with my 3000gt and not only did I fry most of what could be considered the clutch but I broke my rear motor mount.

Good kill! Never thought that 80 mph would have been a good race for an STi as the top-end of the car is not so good and the short gears are what keeps the car fast.

Same people who have Ferrari 430s for weekends, Range Rovers SCs for daily drivers and get their bling on in the TV Show Unique Whips....(which essentially is a show about building speaker boxes, Flat Screen installs and 25+ inch rims that they don't know how to mount up).
