you will just wait and it gets annoying fast hondas and scions the worst out of them all some hondas can be fast but most just have intake and fart cans to people with cobalt ss = waste of gas

 

Its TCs and SIs here. I drive my family out to dinner, and they'll rev or try and get me to race. Also they always try to screw around when I'm out just crusin at or under the limit, when I just want a relaxing drive. The highway ones are the worst though, you run them just to get them to leave you alone, then 20 seconds after you let off, they're right there bugging you again. They're like dogs that need neutered.

Couple Si's I've had to put in there place, more than a couple Mustangs (not messing with those 2011 GTs though, no-way-thank-you-very-much).

The Hondurr kids all think I'm a cop when I show up to meets, so I just don't even think about street racing anymore. All track (sigh).

I had a bad habit of trying to take on **** I have no business racing though, like built Supras, etc. Done with that now...the most recent ticket should have been 75 in a 45, reckless driving, etc, but the cop made it a didn't-signal-lane-change instead. I know when to stop staring the karma unicorn in the mouth!

 

I don't have these problems. My car doesn't get a lot of attention. Most people don't even know it's an SS.

 

i had a 6.0 denali playing with me in downtown raleigh. next light we went, i burnt down 1st and 2nd, wopped some a** and a cop pulled out of a side street and got me for wreckless driving haha stupid race!! lol

 

used to happen to me all the time in my old lsj, then i took the wing off and it stopped. haven't had anyone instigate a race while driving my new one. black and wingless doesn't draw too much attention. all the races i've had in it were set up from just hanging out and the "my buddy's friend's dad knows a guy with..."

 

I wish random people would **** with me on the road. Never happens though...

 

I drive a base model and have had SS's rev at me. lol I just shake my head and laugh usually get the thumbs up, vise versa. Im just a blacked out lowered base so I dont think I attract to much attention. I had one Ls cobalt ask me if I wanted "to go" on green one time, just told him theres no point both are cars are slow, he just laughed a drove off. Im pretty laid back and drive like a normal person.

 

Why would they wanna waste their gas?

 

Its interesting - I generally get the opposite. I have a black SS/TC sedan, and I get few challenges - more than a few chumps think its N/A, and I've had the "what a waste of fuggin' SS badges" comments. I dig the sleeper vibe, but sometimes the need to extract respect does make it hard to keep it cool.

I'm debating debadging the car just to make the surprise a little more special.

Well mine is yellow with black stripes I get a lot of attention even while I was wingless tyred that and didn't help so I went back to the wing factory wing by the way I like showing I am a Ss supercharged so if I can beat them they know to show respect but I doubt ss cobalts will ever get respect we deserve especially now that they don't make them

the funny thing is most of the unknowing just think that. Its just another Mustang. Until the whine from death comes from under the hood lol. I used to own an 04 cobra myself back when I had money to burn lol. Same color pretty much as my SS. I used to have people ******* with the stang all the time. But all I would have to do is blip the gas and the rear end would break loose and they would change their tune.

 

go wingless and 80% of it stops. proven by me lol.
