Friday Night fun in the Turbo SS.
Well on friday was a great night of fun. Raced alot of people.
Raced a pack of about 10 harleys.
Raced a GTO (with the LS2)
Raced a LS2 Corvette
2 Mustangs GT's (one 02ish and a 06)
a SRT4 (330whp claimed)
a oh so lonely riced out prelude.
and about 3 Camaro SS/Z28's
So this thread will be semi long.
Well..lets start with the Pack of harleys.
Drivin down the road (3 wide one way), and had about 10(could be less) harleys all together.
I drive up...the exhaust is poppin when i let it slow...one guy looks at me and laughs...
I yell out "Is that thing any fast?"..he just nods a yes...and punches it.
I give him a quick little gas...kept with him @ 1/2 throttle.
Well we slow down, and now they are on both sides of me...
Then they just gun it....so as did i. Pulled up right in the middle of them @ about 3/4 throttle, then punched it to full. and jogged away. Slowed down they commented me on the car.
Raced a Stock GTO...nothing more to say....was just driving and he comes up to me (i wasnt paying attention)...i hear 3 honks..i look over...he guns it....figured what the hell and hit it and walked him. (had to of been an auto).
LS2 corvette put up a great run from a redlight until about 60ish, then i just kept pullin.
2 Mustang GT's were cruisin around together....i was right behind them...the one went into the other lane...so now im in the middle of the 2..one revs theire engine...i just nod.
3 honks...they both hit it. so did i. won them.
SRT4 kid around town, we toyed around with each other, we did a single pull from 30 to 100 then shut them down...it was pretty much even, until about 75mph when he went to shift, and i didnt have to...and i gained about 1-2 cars.
Some random Camaros. stock...one had exhaust. no big deal.
i was feeling cocky as i won everyone i raced with...i decided to take my chances with a crotch rocket...
found 2 ridin around, doing wheelies and whatnot.
a 500 and a 1000.
wanted to race the 500...but figured i had to race both...
the 500 was dead even with me until 100 from 30mph. the 1000 was long gone.
then there was the lonely prelude....it was cute....he was trying to race me...i didnt feel like it.
he kept gunning it...after about 20min..i said **** it and punched it....
he did the ricer fly by and i went home.
not bad for about 1 1/2 hrs of puttin around town.

Hmmm..... I dont know about all that. I MIGHT have belived the vette if you were boosting the **** out of it and the vette wasnt paying attention, but a crotch rocket?

Walking a GTO and an LS2 Corvette... but running side by side with a 330whp SRT???
Doubt it. BUT, its your story... **** happens. Maybe they though you were a bolt-on, slow 2.4 and left it in like 4th or 5th or even 6th gear. I do that from time to time.

this is some of the most rediculous crap i've heard in a while. Next thing you know he's gonna be posting about how he beat a Viper, or a Z06, hell might as well go all out and say you beat some damn Ferrari's and Lambos too. freakin rice

in the op's defense ive seen a stg3/4 srt4 that dynoed 350whp walk a c6 vette from a 40mph roll.....its up to driver, trans, and power to weight ratio has alot to do wit it.... but who knows.. only the OP does....
